I'm a 26-year-old graduate student living in Ohio. I don't have a lot of time to write, but reading Harry Potter fan fiction is one of my few guilty pleasures. I'm firmly in the H/G camp, but I do enjoy reading other pairings from good writers. I'm particularly impressed with most of Jeconais' work. If you're feeling slightly open-minded, I'd recommend checking out Hope over at fanficauthors.net. It's very well written and doesn't engage in Ginny-bashing like a lot of non-HG stories I've read. (I don't think that will run afoul of the link restrictions, but I'll change it if it's a problem.)
I also occasionally write stories outside the HP universe, but most of them have never seen the light of day. Perhaps that will change if I ever get around to cleaning them up enough so they're fit for public consumption.
Most of my ideas seem to center around the Chamber of Secrets in some fashion. That's probably because I've always considered what happened to Ginny something of an abomination, and I've been itching to fix it for years. I thought about trying just that without invoking Future!Harry or an overly-mature Harry, but at some point the idea turned into a satire. It's called Harry Potter and the Butterfly Effect, but it's purely in the concept stage at the moment, and I'm not sure when it'll go farther.
Other than that, I've got two post-Chamber stories in the works. One I've already started writing (and posting), and it's called The Long, Lonely Road. The other is purely in the planning stages. I might try to work on it in parallel with LLR, or I might not. I've also got a few shorter stories in various stages of completion, but I've set them aside for the time being. Look for them when you see them.
