Well, I've finally done it! I've decided to submit my first HP fan fic. It's called He Didn't Stand A Chance. It's what I hope JKR has written in Deathly Hallows but highly doubt if she did. While cliched, writers really do appreciate reviews. I hope that wasn't too subtle!

A huge thank you to whoever nominated my He Didn't Stand A Chance for Best Romance and Best Overall for the June DSTAs!!!!! Since this is my first fanfiction story, just being nominated -- especially several times --makes me feel really, really good. Thank you!

June 29: A one-shot entry into the Harry Potter Magical Trunk Competition has been approved. Please read it and let me know what you thought by leaving a review. The name of the story is A Trunk, Some Magic, and A Girl. Thank you and enjoy!

July 1: Wow! To have my first fan fic make it to the voting round of the June DSTAs is unbelievable. A huge 'Thank You' to all who nominated it for Best Romance and Best Overall! Your kind words and support are greatly appreciated.

September, 2007: Thank you to everyone who nominated Deathly Hallows: An Interview for this month's DSTAs!

A Trunk, Some Magic, And A Girl by The Seeker starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 26]
Featuring Harry's Magical Trunk, in several iterations, our story follows the Fabulous Four, as they prepare to hunt horcruxes, play some pranks, customize a magical trunk, and fine tune a plan to love Tom to death. All in a day's work for our Hogwarts' Heroes. Right? Humbly submitted for the June Challenge and your reading pleasure. ***A sincere 'Thank You!' to all of you who nominated my other story He Didn't Stand A Chance for the June DSTAs for Best Romance and Best Overall. To now have the story make it into the voting round in both of those categories is beyond unbelievable. Thank you!

He Didn't Stand A Chance by The Seeker starstarstarstarhalf-star [Reviews - 78]
An anticipated “missing moment” from Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, this story focuses on one week in Harry’s life, after he returns to the Dursleys from his traumatic sixth year at Hogwarts. This is a pivotal time for him, where he must decide who to let into his life and who to exclude, as he prepares for the inevitable confrontation with Voldemort. In this three-act story, Harry receives information and advice from several unusual sources that help him select the course he should take. The benefit of having friends in high places becomes abundantly clear, as Harry goes through the most transforming week in his life. All reviews will receive an author response. Canon through HBP is followed by intent, if not the actual writing.

A very sincere 'Thank You!' goes to all of you who nominated this story....

Saving Harry by The Seeker starstarstarstarstar [Reviews - 1070]
** Winner of the March 2008 Dumbledore's Silver Trinket Award for Best Overall **
What if JKR had never intended the Harry Potter series to be for children? How would Harry’s time at the Dursleys been written? This story focuses on the years Harry lived in the cupboard under the stairs at number four Privet Drive, as well as his first appearance at Hogwarts. The treatment he receives during his decade there is not described in fairy tale terms. The boy who initially develops is not the Harry Potter we know. The story is liberally AU, with different personality traits, events, and relationships used to reflect the changes in this very different Harry and the environment in which he grew up. In the end, through the assistance of a certain redheaded young lady, Harry ultimately finds the life he should have had and rediscovers the qualities he always had inside of him. While I am not a psychologist or child development....
