I don't look as old as my brother who sells wands in our family shop. But I'm probably the old one of the SIYE group. I wondered what all the fuss was about HP and read the books. Got hooked. Discovered FanFics and SIYE six months ago (Dec 03).
I sailed around the world (U.S. Navy) and settled in Florida. Currently work with computers in a large medical company (3 hospitals). Enjoy woodworking, photography, reading, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Earned an AA and AS degree a few years ago with the young readers of Harry Potter. Great fun. Better discussions with them.
I'm more into the fluff and romance. It suits me better. But from a wand-making family, I do know my DADA and how to use a wand, among other things. I don't get even, I get effective. Just try to find all the body parts of the last person that plagerized one of my stories.
