I'm a kindergarten teacher, the mother of a wonderful autistic daughter, and the wife of a brilliant man who has recently become permanently physically disabled. My husband encouraged me to begin writing when he became too ill to do so (he is a talented Author). For a time it was a great distraction for both of us (as we waited for blood and biopsy test results, as well as for a diagnosis). Now as I try to balance my responsibilities as a wife, mother, and teacher, writing is something I don't have much time for.
