Father of 4 Harry Potter fans and grandfather of 7, great grandfather of 1, writing my own saga.
I’ve been playing in the Harry Potter universe since 2009, trying to write a long story. After all this time I think I know some of what I can do and cannot do as a writer. I need a partner, someone who is more than a beta, maybe even at times a co-author. I don’t have any problem with plot, with starting with a story premise and continuing to develop it until it comes to some sort of conclusion. I respond well to criticism and challenges. I think I need to work with someone who has problems with finishing chapters or a story. At the same time I need someone who is much better with the texture of a story, the descriptions, the sights and smells. Someone who can describe how a character feel s better than I can. I’m more than willing to work on her story or stories as she worked on mine. (My best two Betas were Authors in their own right, and female, although I would work with another man as well.)
I try to do a good job of answering reviews, and really appreciate them!

Someone is taking hostages and wants to kill Harry and everyone close to him. Follow our favorite characters as they rebuild their lives the first year after the war, Harry as he becomes an Auror and finds out that life as a hero has its own challenges, Ginny as she finds out that having all your dreams come true does not solve all your problems, and the rest of the Weasley clan as they start to rebuild their lives.

Raising Albus is turning out to be a challenge. Raising a child that is extraordinarily magically talented is difficult enough, but when the child is the subject of several prophesies the task can be daunting. Harry feels it may have been easier being a child subject to prophesies than raising one. Teddy wants to be an Auror, not the safest occupation. James and Lily pose their own challenges. This story will take us up to Albus and Rose train ride to Hogwarts.

Cleopatra is obviously his soulmate, and has brilliant insights into magic, except she cannot do it like anyone else. Albus has to help her while keeping peace between the two brightest and most competitive students at Hogwarts, Scorpius and Rose. It doesn’t help that people are out to get Albus. Harry is not sure he can keep everyone safe. Then you have Ginny and Cleopatra.
