I'm a primary school teacher in my twenties, living in Wales, UK. I live close to the sea, in the city where Dylan Thomas and Catherine Zeta Jones grew up but I neither write like him or look like her (more's the pity!) It's a gorgeous place, truly inspirational and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!

I'm a primary school teacher (I suppose those of you across the pond would describe me as a substitute teacher!) but I also work for a creative play scheme during school holidays, a shop that sells handmade soaps and beauty products for two days a week and I do a little personal tutoring for children in the evenings! So sometimes Real Life gets in the way of my beloved fanfics!

I discovered HP when I began reading the books to my little nephew, who was only just learning to read himself. He's now almost fourteen, which scares me, and his reading (and writing!) abilities now astound me on a regular basis! Needless to say, I fell in love with the Potterverse and have been sadly addicted ever since!

I am newly married (well, just over a year - I'm not ready to relinquish my newlywed title just yet!) and my husband has come to realise that he will have to share me with fictional characters! I can get thoroughly lost in reading and writing fanfics, to the point where he has to tap on the glass of the monitor to get my attention!

'A Return to the Normal He Never Had' is my first fanfic, and it is definitely a work in progress. I read through it and see glaring errors and parts that could be written so much better - so please, if you're reading it - bear with me! I'm learning all the time and trying to get better. I always welcome comments and reviews and I love to hear what you guys think about the story. I do have another fic written, but am dithering about posting it as I'm not sure if it will eventually tie in to this one or not... Time will tell!
