I'm Soraya. I'm fifteen with a passion for good books and films. I'm in Year Ten, dunno what that is in American terms. I think it's high school. I'm so British I can barely speak Bengali, my mother tongue. I can also speak very broken Arabic and a bit of French. Hopefully the last two will improve over time.
Some of my favourite authors include: Margaret Mitchell, Dennis Lehane, Patricia Cornwell, Ruth Rendell, Agatha Christie, Louise Bagshawe, Cathy Hopkins, Jacqeuline Wilson, J. K. Rowling, Wendy Holden and loads of others that I can't think of right this minute.
FIlms that I've watched and love: Million Dollar Baby, Freedom Writers, Gone Baby Gone, John Tucker Must Die, She's The Man, Mean Girls, Harry Potter, My Sister's Keeper, In Her Shoes, The Assassination Of Jesse James and loads of others.
I'm a Harry Potter fan who is disappointed with the lack of romance in the books. I like reading fics that are missing moments from the last two books. I don't like reading fics that are epically long, unless the summary is just as good. I am working on a chaptered fic, although it isn't Harry/Ginny. It's James/Lily and it's called Checkmate. You can read it on FanFiction.net (below there's a link to my profile on there) as well as Mugglenet FanFiction and harrypotterfanfiction.com. Please review it as I think it's become my baby :)
