Bio:
I used to write fanfiction a lot (for the Starman TV series starring Robert Hays), back in the late 1980's-mid-90's, but have been busy doing other creative endeavors since then (including writing newspaper and magazine articles and a non-fiction book, all published). Then Harry Potter caught me in his snare and I just had to write a sixth year fic, which I THOUGHT would be my one HP story - unfortunately for the rest of my life (writing fanfic takes a great deal of time away from other things!), "The Refiner's Fire" led to a sequel, "The Time of Destiny." "The Refiner's Fire" is complete, 40 chapters and 930 pages long. "Refiner's" sequel, "The Time of Destiny" is a seventh year fic, complete, 36 chapters and 1402 pages long, and isn't HBP compliant. Destiny fairly well ties up all the loose ends in both my fics and JKR's. I'm adding to the RF/ToD saga by writing ficlets and a new novel to fill in the time gap between "Destiny" and its sequel. Look for other stories by me on this site. In Harry's chronological order (not in the order I wrote them), they go like this: Refiner's Fire," "Time of Destiny" WITHOUT the epilogue, "A Fox's Tale"; "Beginnings"; "Now and Forever" (the new novel I'm currently uploading); the epilogue fits in after "Now and Forever" (so far - who knows what other stories I'll come up with? :D). After the epilogues come these stories; "On Second Thoughts"; "Hedwig's Tale"; "A Very Harry Christmas." Writing these stories has been great fun for me. I hope you'll enjoy them!

To answer a frequent question, I have no more HP novels planned after "Now and Forever" (which was supposed to be a ficlet but grew!). The only HP stories I expect to write in the future are more ficlets to fill in gaps in the epilogue to Destiny.

I am delighted to announce that my orignal novel, "Star Sons - Dawn of the Two" is now available on Amazon both in the US and UK! The first of either a trilogy or a series (the second book is written in first-draft form already, yay!), "Star Sons" is a hero-quest magical fantasy like HP, LotR, Star Wars, etc. You can read a sample chapter via the "Search Inside" function on Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk.

For the shippers who worry about such things, Refiner's starts out as HP/OC, then becomes HP/GW, RW/HG and RL/NT, with Destiny and the other stories continuing those ships.

Some readers asked me to put some "personal" stuff on here. Okay. My husband and I raised Quarter Horses for many years, and in 2000, I started showing horses myself after a long period as a "horse show mom." My lovely horse, Jack, has taught me a lot about riding, forcing me to improve my skills greatly, resulting in the two of us being Champions or Reserve Champions on our local open show circuit 2002, 2003 and 2004. In 2005, five weeks of bronchitis early in the summer pretty much killed off my horse show season, but we still won a year-end award from the few shows we managed before I got sick! YAY! In 2006, I missed the whole show season due to a pulled hamstring! Argh. In 2007, I missed the show season because I actually injured my arms sculpting a horse and carriage piece with a tight deadline (you can see it on my art website, TheSculptedHorse.com - click on "Bronze Galley" and look for "Elegance."). My arms hurt so much from sculpting too many hours a day, I couldn't groom Jack, much less lift a saddle to his back! I'm hoping to get back to showing in 2008, although with Jack 17 and me 58 by show season, we're both getting older and crreakier . . . . :) But I still enjoy riding even if I don't get to show much anymore. And that trophy that cost me the show season in 2007 was a World Championship trophy for the Friesian association AND I sold THREE of them right off the bat, so it was well worth the effort!

I'm a professional sculptor by trade, creating fine art bronzes, wall art, trophies, and jewelry, mostly of horses but with some wildlife and fantasy stuff thrown in. I have done one Harry Potter inspired piece, a small bronze of a snowy owl, which you can see in my Bronze Gallery, and a dragon sculpture you can find in my Resin Gallery, both at TheSculptedHorse.com.

I'm originally from the South, have lived in the Midwest for many years, have been married since 1971 and have two grown and married children, two horses, one dog, three cats, am old enough to be a grandparent to the Trio, and am a huge fan of Dan Radcliffe, who embodies the Harry of the books perfectly. I hope you enjoy my stories.
