It made me cry a bit... Reviewer: KiraBallerina Anonymous Date: 2005.11.15 - 09:54PM Title: Blue Christmas First, sorry for not reviewing earlier, I have just been so caught up in reading your story. I am hard to please when it comes to fanfics, but yours is FABULOUS! I'm usually sceptically of new charaters, but Phaedra, Linda, Amrita, Daphne, they're all so well-rounded and thought out. Plus, the story line is the most imaginative I have ever read and everything fits together perfectly and makes sense. If this were a published book, I'd buy the hardcover. (That's saying something becuase I am extreeeemly cheap.) Anyway, keep up the good work, write more stories, because I'm zooming through this one! ~Kira Reviewer: Rhiannon Anonymous Date: 2004.06.07 - 08:22PM Title: Blue Christmas In fact, this might be my favorite chapter. Reviewer: Rhiannon Anonymous Date: 2004.06.07 - 08:20PM Title: Blue Christmas And another thing, I have to agree with JenniferW, who talked about the importance of Christian references in magic-related stories. That was the most touching reference to Christianity I have seen in fan fiction, even though I'm not particulrly religious. Reviewer: Rhiannon Anonymous Date: 2004.06.07 - 08:17PM Title: Blue Christmas Oh, that was sweet! Poor Amrita, an innocent little girl deserves better! Please help Ginny ASAP. How awful, that she should be pregnant, alone, and unhappy on Christmas. Her pregnancy and other situations make an ironic comparison to Jesus' birth. speaking of Jesus, that was a touching Weasley family prayer, probably one of my favorite parts of the story so far. Please bring Harry back to Ginny and set Ginny and Amrita free. They're both long overdue. Reviewer: JenniferW Anonymous Date: 2004.03.23 - 05:34PM Title: Blue Christmas I loved this chapter! I was crying at the Christmas scene for Amrita... that was too sweet! I also like how you emphasized the CHRISTianity in Christmas! My Humanities class just discussed how that has been messed up so much by the media and all that many people forget what Christmas was even for. I love the Ginny angst, and the inclusion of the prayer. Once more, I have to say GO YOU for putting this little bit in your story. It warmed my heart and besides that, I like to see Christianity in HP. I've seen quite a few stories that emphasize that the witches and wizards in the HP-verse are Wiccan or Pagan, and that bugs me... Sorry for being so long winded... ~JenniferW Reviewer: vietgurl0607 Anonymous Date: 2004.03.18 - 12:57AM Title: Blue Christmas that was so sad! *sob sob* and I don't cry easily, you know! ;). Reviewer: Cata Anonymous Date: 2004.03.16 - 11:36PM Title: Blue Christmas You made me cry! And I don't cry easily... poor Amrita, I hadn't really took time to think much about her, but with this scene you broke my heart, and now I just hope you get her out of all this alive and unhurt, so she can have a happy childhood. Reviewer: Delani Anonymous Date: 2004.03.16 - 11:25PM Title: Blue Christmas amazing, as ususal! I'm glad Ginny got her Cedirc vision, but it seemed somewhat vague and rushed. Reviewer: arios Anonymous Date: 2004.03.16 - 01:31AM Title: Blue Christmas Oh no, poor thing! Did you know that too much suffering could make her miscarriage!? Wow,you managed that I felt sorry for Womrtail for once... Reviewer: Cole Signed Date: 2004.03.15 - 11:24PM Title: Blue Christmas A nice interum chapter, you've throttled back a bit on how quickly things were moving action wise, but upped the ante with the risk for Ginny and child and her family unaware of just how bad things are and at arms with the fact that they are powerless to do anything about it. Keep it up. Reviewer: susi Anonymous Date: 2004.03.15 - 04:08PM Title: Blue Christmas I like it very much | |||||||
