THAT'S IT?!!! i really think that your ending is lacking - _majorly_ . your story was great, but please - don't just cut everything off so suddenly! i know you've been done with this for forever, but come back and write a something.... about, oh i don't know, a quintuple wedding, or the next people in the Founders' Suite, or the kids! what i'm trying to say is that the ending just leaves us hanging, without any real feeling of completion.

A terrific end to your story and a lovely stage to start your sequel, which is why I read this story in the first place.
You have created your own unique universe of characters, relationships and magical accessories.
I really enjoyed the Founders and what they brought, the 5 phoenixes and Ginny's powers as a Spitfire.
Your writing skills are somewhat unique, very creative, humorous, tongue in cheek, fun-loving ..... plus the dark side of loving to kill people. And the use of twists and cliffhangers, not overused and always well-timed.
I'll save more compliments as I catch up on "A New Way to Live"
Author's Response: Thanks for your compliments, I think, however, that after having read this part of my series, you will see that sometimes the most obvious chain of events is clearly laid out. For example, in chapter eight I'm killing off someone, by now I fear that my faithful readers will see this coming. I worry that I have ruined the suspension of disbelief for too many...I don't know I suppose we will have to see how that goes. Thank you again for your wonderful reviews.

Well, at least Harry doesn't have his scar anymore :-) What a great story! I'm sad its done, but i do believe that you are doing a second part, yes? Thats good, 'cuz I want to know what happened to the others, where are Bill and Fleur? Who all is dead? What happens now? lots of stuff to cover yet. :-)
Author's Response: Exactly...lots to cover. I will say this though, for the most part...everyone made it out. The next story will focus mainly on they that live...but as always things aren't that simple.

Wonderful, spectacular, fabulous, etc., etc. I have been on an emotional rollercoaster this entire ride! I have numerous things I want to be specific on, so let's begin.
Draco: Fantastic twist! He would not help out Harry, specifically, but for Draco to defend Susan like that made my heart smile. Actually, if you had not given the explanation of Lucius loving him somewhere deep down - which by the way I very much liked - he would have reminded me of a certain Potter matriarch. Great job with that, and I am eager to learn more about him in the next tale.
The battle: Initially, while reading, I thought you were ending it with his body crumbling and the battle was over. Then you have Voldemort enter Harry, and the eyes change, and the souls are fighting. What a war! You bring a whole new meaning to internal battles! Probably the most creative scene I have read yet. I would love to know what Ginny was saying, what language was it? Translation? The cutting off of the scar, while gruesome in my vividly imaginitive mind, was great! And everyone being blown away, then healed by the Pheonix's was such a well thought and crafted ending.
Ginny: She has become such a source of power with you, I adore it. People tend to make her just the fiery tempered red head, but you have given her such strength. And they thought she wouldn't e able to play with the big dogs and defend Ginny. (By the way, I loved that scene too - before the war started - Yay Ginny!)
The gifts: Since I did not review the last chapter, I loved the placement of the gifts, my only regret is that I didn't really get to see anyone use it, other than Luna. They fit the receivers perfectly, I would have loved to see how they actually used them. Hermione and Ron kinda did, but I would have liked to see the gifts play more of a pivital role, as there was so much focus on them through out the story.
Overall, I hope I have been able to express how much I have enjoyed this, and cannot wait to start the next leg of the race. You have such a gift, and being able to share this has been an honor. Can't wait to talk to you again, you are wonderful!

Author's Response: Sweet girl! Im giggly because of your review...again. I can't thank you enough for such kind words. I really hate how people graze over Ginny's natural strength. As for the gifts, we will see them a little more in the sequel via flashbacks. War is hell and I didn't want to bring that to the pages. As for Draco, he is going to have a long year and when he comes back everything will change. Can't say more here, but I'd love to chat with you about it sometime. Yes, do please have a sequel. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!!!! and I know that I am not the only one. Your story is realistic in that not everyone survives, but there is still a happy ending. I also enjoy the fact that you had life go on. Throughout all the pain and heartache, life went on.
