Poor Ron. It just wouldn't be sixth year if he wasn't poisoned. Draco is especially horrid in this story and how surprising to feel sympathetic towards Pansy.
Author's Response: I wrote this story BEFORE book 6 came out, so JKR was copying ME on poisoning Ron! LOL. There are actually a lot of things in my stories that JKR used in hers - great minds think alike, I guess.

You have a fantastic way of combinining the loyalty of friends, humor and a constant reminded of the threat that is coming .
I didn't tell you how much I enjoyed the chapter that included Harry and Ron helping Ginny to recover her love of flying. It was very late and I have not been sleeping enough to stay well. That chapter deserves a prize. If their is any contest you would like my vote on, please let me know.
I don't review every chapter. Your writing is terrific and I want to keep reading. For some reason I find that I am slower to read this than a book.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Refiners has been online for a few years and isn't eligible for any prizes anymore that I know of - but thanks for the offer! I enjoyed the chapter where the boys helped Ginny recover her love of flying too - that was a fun chapter to write. And this story is slower to read than one of JKR's because it's written for adults - and it's a lot longer than any of hers. I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for writing!

applause, applause another excellent well written chapter. liked how harry is making a full recovery from his injuries due to the attack from malfoy. yule ball was well written and beautifully done. the beautiful lotion deffientely had poinson in it and am glad that ron was able to recover fully from it. nice scene with pansy and the quads in the hospital wing. it seems that they have come to an understanding of some sorts abd for that its nice to see. keep the work up and i anxiously await all future chappies to come. 10/10

Thats what I like, a speedy recovery those must be some hum dinger potions. I hope there are no gliter potions out there to poison a guy when he kisses his girls neck, what a terrible thought. I think girls (women) are beautiful whether they wear make up or not and it was nice to see Ron and Harry agree with me. Excellent chapter. 10/10

Poor Pansy. Just a bad little girl looking for a good guy. (sniff) I really enjoyed Harry trying to get to the loo with his wings and the idea of having to use a chamber pot with the girls there. Such indignities for our hero! :-)
