I don't think it was wise of them to talk about the time turner at all. Other than that, I greatly enjoyed reading this chapter.
Author's Response: There are reasons for what happens in each chapter, so the time turner talk was most likely necessary. Glad you're enjoying the story!

Author's Response: I didn't pick "two black kids" to do commentary. There are more than two black kids in HP anyway - Angelina, Dean Thomas, Lee Jordan, Blaise Zabini are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. I chose Dean because he isn't on the team but is interested in the game. I hope you're enjoying the story.

great chapter yet again. enjoyed the quidditch game very much. it was full of action, well set pace and perfect in length. enjoyed reading about the da session and how harry explained everything to everyone who was present.
liked how harry held onto his power and was able to use it at a safe distance away from the castle. great to see snape take points away from slytherin and for putting malfoy into his place and for also taking him down a couple of notches considering that he needed it instead of harry.
great work and as always 10/10 for every chapter i read and review for

In a previous review, I said in a post-script that I was going back and pasting these from Word... and well... I lost this one. Sooooo...
Anyway, I read the review right before this one for this chapter and the 'half as long as Malfoy's' thing isn't true. You did say something with the word half but I distinctly remember thinking about that and realizing what you meant. It was tricky wording but you weren't mistaken in what you wrote. Just letting you know.
Again, I really liked this chapter and another GREAT JOB to add to your collection.

P.S. – I went back and found the line I was talking about above and deleted the review and re-reviewed. The line was “His arms are half again as long as Malfoy’s.” Doesn’t change anything but I figured I’d clue you in if I could.

Up in the quidditch game, you say that Harry's arms are half as long as Malfoy's. I think you meant twice. Just a little grammatical thing. Of course, the story is brilliant. I think this is my third time reading it the whole way through, including Time of Destiny. I read a couple of my favorite chapters quite a few times. I love this story. I couldn't sleep, so I'm reading this. I really shouldn't, considering the fact that I have school tomorrow. Oh well. Thank you for a wonderful story.

Author's Response: Mistakes are bound to happen in such long, complex stories, despite the many eyes that read it before publication and the numerous times it was proofread and polished. Oh well! JKR has mistakes in hers, too ("ancestor/descendent," having James and Lily come out of Voldie's wand in the wrong order, etc.). Glad you're still enjoying my stories!

The comment of Americans and guns is somewhat scary if people believe it. I just wonder how many European etc people believe it also. Malfoy still has a big mouth and I am surprised Harry kept himself under control, of course after he created the "pond" it makes you wonder what Malfoy would have looked like had Harry stayed. I still like Harry and his DA, His explanations were good for the younger kids and after Hermiones slip, I was expecting more to happen but Harry and Hermione handled it well. Great chapter and a mighty fine story. Thanks.
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! I honestly don't remember what I wrote about Americans and guns. My family all enjoys shooting, so you won't see any "pro-gun control" stuff from me. I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter!

Okay they are in the Great Hall right? I'd think the Room of Requirement would hold them all, as it's size is changable too.. But yeah, thanks to book 5 I'm still picturing them in the room of requirement even though I know they're in the great hall... What did they do about floor and wall padding and all that like the RoR had for them?
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you like the DA as an actual "club"! And it was no problem for Dumbledore and Flitwick to create padding wherever it was needed.

Author's Response: Oh, I forgot to say, they didn't want to reveal the Room of Requirement to EVERYBODY, either, which was another reason to hold it in the Great Hall. One traitor in their midst was a good lesson to them for future reference (Marietta in canon, remember)

I don't know why it would take a while to come up unless it's because it's a big chapter (and I don't know which one you're referring to, since this review board doesn't list the chapters in the reviews). Some chapters are just a lot longer than others. Glad you're enjoying the story!
