I really loved this short well written one-shot. I wondered why Remus waited 3 years to give Ginny Harry's location? I'm assuming that he was able to read Harry and assess that Harry was in a better state of mind to come home, or at least to receive a visit from Ginny. Their love for each other quickly pushed the past into deep memory for Harry and I am so glad their mutual expression of love for each other overcame any other concerns of Harry's. It's a stretch, but it's plausible where these two are concerned and the joyful reunion with family at long last was quite heartwarming for me.

I'm sure you don't read these any more, but I noticed you wren't kidding when you said you liked angst! This, in a way reminds me of another story "The Emerald Of My Eyes." In that one Ginny was blind, but Harry found a cure (after holing hinself away for years to try and find that cure). I would have loved to see how Harry managed, and it seemed to end rather abruply, but I imagine you left it our imaginations to suss out what was going to happen.

I despise the idea of an injured Harry sequestering himself, hiding from his loved ones. So sad that he would think he needed to leave. That being said, you handled that scenario very well, with Ginny finding Harry, loving him, and bringing him home. Oh, the wasted years. At least he can begin to heal. Nice job.

I love it you could so make this into a real story going into how he deals with coming back to everyone and how everyone (including the public) reacts to his sudden reapearance and his blindness, alng with H/G's relationship and learning to lean on eachother to get through it all. It was a very good story!

Harry being blind was indeed sad but also kind of poetic. I really enjoyed it. Personally I would have thought that Harry would have been a little more subborn to return though. I mean you have him shut himself off from everyone for two years and then he has sex with Ginny once and everything is okay? Not that I believe that love can't conquer all just didn't think it would be done in one night. But I think the rules are a little different for one shot fics so it's okay. Now off to see how I like your other fics.
