Well not going to lie hate reading about Ginny with other guys nothing makes me turn to a different story faster than that... That is actually the only reason for me to competly drop a stroy but seeing as your going cannon route it does make my decision harder I mean JK's world and JK wrote it like this so I mean guess willing to see where it goes but go to in depth in love life and I am pretty sure I am going to drop it.

I really do like this story. Despite some of the run together words and spelling errors, it has good flow, and the concept is good. I think what I'm finding really sad is how much more potential you had/have here than to just do a rewrite of what JKR did viewed through GIny's eyes. It seems to me you are intent on sticking to cannon till Harry and Ginny finally get together. I don't know if you will make changes at that point or not, but it would be really sad to see a story with so much potential do nothing to stand alone from what JKR did other than to let us see Ginny's point of view. Like other readers, I'm not too excited to see Ginny's relationships with other boys before Harry gets it together either, but that is the way of things. I go forward, eagerly hoping major changes are ahead.

And there it is: Ginny can get anything she wants from the elements. You do know that she could just ask the elements to off Voldemort and theyd probably do it. Elements would do what she want regardles of what Voldemort as an elemental orders them to do because apparently she's got more Power. And again: what the hell do we need Harry for?

I have to agree with amulder though, The thought of focusing on Ginny and Michaels relationship makes me kind of queasy...
Author's Response: Yeah, me too, but it is necessary to Ginny's story, believe it or not. This has been a difficult fic to write, seeing as that I am such a Harry/Ginny shipper! I BELIEVE IN FATE! But we all have to grow up, and growing up is not always pleasant.

I'm still enjoying this very different take on the series.
But in all honesty, I'm not sure I'll be able to stomach very much of a Ginny/Michael relationship. I dislike him already, which I suspect was your intent in the slimy way you wrote him. Here's hoping you keep that out of the limelight of the story!
Author's Response: Ah, well, if you notice in Cannon, Ginny and Michael never seem to be, er, together too much. I believe that it was more of a relationship of 'convenience' for both of them, after all, the boy can dance!
