I don't know the best word to describe this...but your story here harkens to what is going in the US (and elsewhere) in terms of people being clueless about what is actually going on and thereby being manipulated. Have no idea if any of this is intentional...but the thought has been coming up for me over recent chapters.
Anyway, thanks for your creative gift!
Author's Response: I did not intend to include anything real-world when I started out writing this story, but found that it crept in the more I wrote and thought about the situations these characters found themselves in. Maybe it was my subconscious working things out...who knows?! In the end, I'm overjoyed with the end result and I hope you will be, as well.

Another goody of a chapter! I think Harry was smart to leave for groceries and let Ginny and Hermoine work things out! Great they found the locket horcrux! Wonder how long it will take them to think basilisk venom/fangs! Harry obviously doesn't realize his connection to Moldyshorts yet! The wheels are starting to roll! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Good chapter. Finally they found the locket. What's up with Ginny and Hermione? I wondered about that in HBP as well.
Author's Response: Two strong-willed witches in the same household, add in some pressure from outside sources and you're sure to have an explosion or two. Plus, Hermione was always a bit bossy in canon. I tried to reflect that here but allow for changes since these characters have had to grow under different circumstances.

Hmm, Harry hopes he wouldn’t be stuck in the middle when things came to blows between Ginny and Hermione. He doesn't even consider standing on Ginny's side. A good boyfriend he is.
Harry always gets moody when someone interrupts his cosy research projects. Does the Horcrux in Harry make him play for time and always delay important discussions? On the other hand, Ginny isn't much different, and hopefully, she's not a Horcrux.
I wonder who'll be able to break that charm. I doubt it'll be Harry. He has known about the charm for so years but never did anything about it but wail about it.
Let's just hope they don't put the Horcrux in the nightstand drawer and forget it.
Author's Response: I don't think Harry was being disloyal to Ginny in any way by not wanting to be in the middle. Harry doesn't like conflict, and he really doesn't like it between people he loves. He respects both of these witches, but I don't blame him for not wanting to get involved in a squabble he doesn't really know anything about. There will be more about this coming up, but for now they're just trying to get the hang of living together in a pressure cooker, more than anything.
No comment on horcruxes or charm breaking, I'm afraid. You'll just have to see how things unfold.

God I love this story so damn much!
I just love your interpretation of Harry and Ginny because I think, even though they've both been through so much with wanting to be together but not able to to start with because of the memory charm, they're still them and so well suited to each other.
I'm always so happy to see a new chapter :)
