-Flashback- ? -End Flashback- ? What was that? Hopefully this doesn't sound too harsh, but never ever EVER should you indicate a flashback by labeling it a flashback. Other than that, your writing is very polished. It's a contradiction. On the one hand your writing is smooth and flowing like that of someone who has been writing for a while. But on the other hand you throw in such a juvenile and amateurish mistake as to make me wonder how old you are. I hope that doesn't sound too harsh; I just wanted to point it out.

You had already indicated the following scene was a flashback by saying that Harry was remembering Draco's first day there. All that was needed was a dividing line or symbol (perhaps ~ ~ ~) or some other visual indicator. You could put the flashback in italics, unless it is the entire chapter. After the flashback, the same separating symbol or line to indicate the flashback is over would work just as well. I don't recall seeing this problem in any other work from you, but I may have just not felt like saying anything about it at the time.

As for the chapter, it's a good transition. I would compare it to an eighties movie training montage. Not that that's a bad thing. I especially liked the meeting with Dumbledore and Sirius. As the short transition chapter that it was, it did its job nicely. I can't wait for the next one.
