It's nice to see Harry open to suggestions on how to help himself. Hopefully, if he forgives himself as Mike suggested, he will be bothered less by his nightmares and can get on with the rest of his life. I really liked Mike's character and what he does for Harry.
The other part of the chapter I really liked was the ghosts realizing they could choose to "go on". The impression I got was that they were tremendously relieved that there was a solution to their plight and that they were grateful, especially the chief, to Harry for suggesting they stop fighting and join their families. That was a nice touch.
I look forward to your next chapter. This one gets two thumbs up.

I know Harry hates that Ginny has finally seen some of his flashback problem, but I think it can bring them even closer. I hope that over the next few days of their honeymoon they can spend some time dealing with it and growing closer. kutgw

Mike is so sweet! Why can't I meet him? Harry does need to talk about what happened to him. I hope he does.

Well done. There is a certain irony in Harry being so eager to help the ghost-warriors, while being so reluctant to accept help for hmself. Perhaps if he begins to realize how his reaction to the trauma affects others -- especially those to whom he is closest -- he might possibly start to consider that despite his intent to protect, his actions are creating rather the opposite effect.
Author's Response: Harry is a man of action. He wanted to help the ghost warriors because he thought he could. But many people, men especially, often do have trouble ACCEPTING help, you're right. But Harry wants to get past this and get on with his life, so he's open to help now. If he weren't open to it, he wouldn't have listened to Mike as he did.

That was really good. I enjoyed Harry talking the ghosts out of their eternal war. And the flashback and talk with Mike was great. I want to see Harry talking to Ginny about it and getting the help he needs. Them overcoming something together has a lot more appeal for me than them having a typical honeymoon, however much they deserve the respite. I think I'll enjoy your fluff chapters more when I go back and reread the story as a whole. They'll seem more earned and satisfying. Goodness knows Harry has suffered plenty in your hands and does deserve a little fun in the sun.
Author's Response: Yeah, I was awfully hard on Harry, but there was a war on and he was the "object" of that war, so it made sense to me that Voldie and his pals would have as many methods of "getting" Harry as possible, often all going at once as people like Bellatrix and Lucius competed to be the "top dog" in Voldie's eyes. And I always planned to give Harry this kind of "fun in the sun" when the war was over - I think the contrast is interesting (seeing how he responds to such a different set of circumstances than he's been used to).
