Forgive me for not reviewing earlier, but I only just discovered this fic a few days ago. I had read The Refiner's Fire and Time of Destiny a long time ago, but only just found this.
I must say, you truly are a brilliant writer with many talents and I absolutely LOVE this fic. I'm not sure what else I can say... your fic is just purely amazing and I can't wait for the next chapter!
Also, you should know that you are one of the very few authors who I read which do not immediately begin after the final battle in Deathly Hallows. I just sorta stayed away from anything prior to Harry's 7th year, but this is one of those few occasions where I love how you have written and expressed your views of Harry's possible life.
Once again, great work and I can't wait till the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! And I don't deal with DH because I started my fics after OotP and have kept them deliberately non-HBP and non-DH compliant. They are RF and ToD compliant and that's how they'll stay. :)

so what was the decision? i'm guessing no kissing or what not in public but what about after the wedding? and i cant wait to see about the house elves and what harry has in store for them!! lol and poor harry...he really is gonna have to get used to the real world...but he can handle! update soon!

Great chapter! I love the house-elf saga and look forward to seeing what Harry does about it. While I do appreciate the need to be professional as a teacher and the issue with a professor dating a student, the whole PDA problem is frustrating. Either coming clean about already being married and getting an exception or quitting seem to be the most logical solutions. If the school survived a year without a competent Defense teacher (Umbridge) it certainly seems as if Dumbledore could manage to squeak through the end of the year without a flying instructor. Heck, Ginny can teach it! Or they can be Dumbledore's Phoenixes and Merlin can teach them...there's a solution! :)
I like Marcus. He's a cool character. I can't get used to Dumbledore as Harry's grandfather, though. It just bugs me, somehow. Fun story.

Love this story just as much as its two predecessors. Wizzarding politics in this universe fascinate me and like the way you are expanding from the glimpses we see in the books. I would love for you to tackle many of the Victorian practices we see in the books and in your stories head on, either in this story or in a separate one. Keep up the fantastic work
