There is absolutely no need to apologise. In fact, it is I who should thank you for reading and reviewing! I actually never intended to, but it doesn't surprise me that you drew a parallel between 1984 and this story, as 1984 is the best book that I've ever read. You may also see some similarities between this story and Citizen Kane. It was never intentional, but seeing as I'm completely fascinated by media manipulation... Yes, indeed, some are very OOC. But I'm glad that their weirdness makes sense. I do also tend to change Harry, but I'm trying to do it slowly and coherently, as there is no way that he could go from being the white hero he is in canon, to a grey warrior in the blink of an eye. By the time chapter sixteen is done, he will have very much changed. But then again he is going to live through some pretty soul-straining times, soon ;) Ah, yes. Ginny. As this story is more advanced on ffnet, many people have guessed what is wrong with her. I just ask that you please not try to kill me via modem. It will be solved long before the end! Thank you again! Reviewer: The Dark Knight Signed Date: 2011.01.14 - 10:50AM Title: Know Thy Self You know, I like your Hermione ('Owl'), much better than JKR's Hermione. I did trul felt a chill when she said "I live by the sword, Harry, and I used to feel proud knowing that I'd die by the sword." By way of a useless bit of informatiom - my friends and I used to go camping every summer on Inchcailoch, next to Inchmurrin on Loch Lomond. We were known as the "Beer Drinkers". | |||||||
