"So You Think You Have a Rare Artefact?"

That really cracked me up for some reason :p Another great chapter, I'm sad to see I'm nearing the end.

Oh, the Parable of The Chocolate Cake is the best! It might have to be added to my family's repertoire. Thanks!
In case you're wondering, this chapter was made of win!

Author's Response: Chocolate cake FTW!

Ah...the mystery of it all. Sounds like Luna may have the answer to it all.

Loved the conversation between Arthur and Harry. Good observation about when he reverts back to using the term "Mr Weasley" and I love that Harry is finally realsing that he really does have a family after all and that they all genuinely care for him "through thick and thin, the good times and the bad"

I have been reading this story every chance I got. I actually had to be dragged away from my computer, and convinced not to just sit there all day reading. It is insanely well written, and I applaud your skills. I really like the way you have portrayed the events after the war. Everything seems very realistic, and exactly how I thought everyone would act. I must admit, that not being one to cry while reading a story, this one had me bawling on several different occasions. I also found myself laughing out loud as well. The mysterious Gryffindor room is such an intriguing idea, and you are writing about it so thoroughly that I often find myself mistaking it for something that is actually in the books. The bond Harry has with the Weasley family is something that makes me extremely happy. Reading about him being considered a son, and a brother is simply wonderful. When I first read that Ron would not be accompanying Harry, Hermione, and Ginny to school I was skeptical. But, you have managed to fix it so it is very real. (I agree with Ron needing to help out George) Neville is amazing in this. I often read stories where he is not nearly as brave, or given half the credit that he rightly deserves. Malfoy is a somewhat likable character, which I feel is great because I believe he is truly misunderstood. Harry and Ginny's relationship is everything I hoped for, and more. I cannot wait to read the next chapter. Sorry for the immensely long review. I just had to get it all out there :) Good job.

Author's Response: I really should go back an put in those Kleenex warnings ... There is absolutely nothing wrong with a long review - no need to apologise for that! I'm glad you are enjoying my characterisations and my little made up bits and pieces. I hope you keep reading and enjoying and reviewing - I hope where we're going from here out is just as riveting as you found it so far!

Well put to words. Enthralling and easily related to. Looking forward to more. Enjoy the future

Author's Response: Thanks:)

Thanks for another terrific chapter. I am going to be so sad when this fic is complete; you do such a wonderful job with dialogue and characterization. My favorite parts, probably just like everyone else, are the conversations between Harry & Mr. Weasley (oh, I mean Arthur) and Harry & Ginny.

One of the best aspects of this story is how the characters struggle again and again with the same problems, which is so true to life. Harry isn't going to overcome his fear of abandonment and struggle with self-worth, Ginny isn't going to recover from the horror of being hunted, and George isn't going to recover from losing his dearest loved one in just one chapter. They're going to have to deal with those issues over and over as they slowly heal. You've done an excellent job of portraying this.

Author's Response: I think it takes longer than once to figure something out, doesn't it? I'm glad you are enjoying the story and I doubt you'll be the only sad face when it's finished.

Loved the chapter, once again, great job. I really like what you are doing with the Gryffindor room, I can't wait to see where that leads in the future. And like everyone else, I enjoy the way you have been writing Arthur Weasley. I like that he always seems to have a nugget of wisdom for Harry when he needs it.

Good like with your school work.

Author's Response: I heart Arthur so much. Truly.

Great chapter once again! Dialogues get better and better.

Sorry for missing a review on chapter 44. I was a bit preoccupied into finishing the last book of the Twilight saga. Anyway, I really loved that chapter too!

You never cease to amaze me with your writing talent! Will be looking forward for the next chapter, but please take your time and try not to finish Rebuilding Life too quickly because i'm sure you can still think of more things to add to their story (a story which I would not have preferred to ever end, lol). Good luck with your 4th degree, I bet you could be the next J.K. Rowling or Stephanie Meyer after that. ;)

Author's Response: I've been reading Twilight too lol. Thanks for the good wishes and the very flattering words about my alleged talent ;) . I'm plodding along with the remaining parts of the story - sadly it will come to an end. But it'll be one helluva ride ;)

One of the best post DH stories I have ever read! Just discovered this story and have read all 45 chapters in a row. From one Aussie to another - thanks for a fabulous read!

Author's Response: How long did it take? lol

Very nice, Kezza. I really enjoy the talk with Arthur, especially. It's scenes like this that truly make him one of my favorite characters.

Author's Response: I love that bit too. He's one of my fave and that's why I write him like that ... *sheepish*

First of all good lick with the rest of your semester. Secondly I LOVE the way you write Arthur. Where can I get one and can he have chocolate cake with him???

Author's Response: I should post my choc cake recipe for y'all ... lol if I ahd an Arthur that would be the cake he would give :D

I don't remember if it was this chapter, or last, but Dumbledore is gay! So of course he gave up true love! No guy wanted him! LOL!
Great chapter(s). I've been behind. Keep writing, and I'll keep reading. =]

Author's Response: Um ... well I don't think it's fair to say that no guy wanted him. He gave up true love because that is canon. He loved Grindelwald and after that betrayal he never could bring himself to be hurt like that again. Jo Rowling said that in one of the post-DH interviews about it. It has nothing to do with his homosexuality and I don't think that is a very sensitive thing to say at all. Glenda was merely commenting on the fact that Dumbledore never again let himself love someone in the same manner as he loved Gellert. he was too afraid to. that's the whole point - Dumbledore gave up on it - too scared for all his sacrifices he was never quite 'whole' again.

I really like what you did in the last two chapters with Harry having to face his fear of fear. Excellent. The scenes with Arthur and Ginny were wonderful. Particularly Arthur. Harry confessing he never really let himself be part of the Weasley family is quite insightful. I think it's very consistent with a deeper look at canon Harry. Great job! :)

Author's Response: I always had the impression in canon that Harry never felt like he really was a part of it - the Weasley family I mean. Like when you hear someone say something and you nod and smile but you don't really believe them. I think he's finally getting a clue :D

some times the brain does not always kick in right away and i thought hermione was smart then again its luna that shows the way....kutgw

Author's Response: Luna- the guiding beacon of light! lol

Oh, Kezza - I loved the conversation between Harry and Mr. Weasley. It just made the whole thing for me! I think Mr. Weasley even took top spot from Harry for my favorite in this one. He was Da Bomb - and I love the chocolate cake and all the childhood stories of why each Weasley ran away.

After Mr. W and Harry, Ron comes close behind. I love his fierce loyalty to Harry and his instinct to protect him still. It's such a nice take on the friendship. And of course, Luna. She was great in this one. I find her hard to do, but I think you nailed her.

Favorite line? I think it was Mr. Weasley's subtle hint to Harry that he reverts to calling him "Mr. Weasley" every time he thinks he's disappointed the man. Well done.

Author's Response: Arthur! Squee! LOL I am so, so glad JKR didn't kill him off! If I ever meet her that's what I'll say - THANK YOU FOR ARTHUR! And as you know, I am a BIIIIIIIIIG fan of protective Ron - who protects Harry. I want to keep that friendship intact Harry needs Ron - yanno? :una made me crack up she was just perfect for this sort of thing. She's not easy to write but I have fun with her every now and then. Oh, yeah I like that line too *warm fuzzies*

Oh gods, don't you just love Luna! LMAO when I read the last part. Hermione swooning over trashy romance novels is hilarious but hey.... it is still a book, right?

I always loved Arthur when he is described as a 'wise' man, a father that doesn't pretend to know all answers but he's there for you no matter what. And HEY Kezza *frowning my alabaster brow* I happen to like warm milk! :)
As much as I loved IBTFY I'm glad you're back on RL once again.
Good luck on your fourth year.

Until next time, take care.

Author's Response: Warm milk - blech :P Arthur is the best dad ever! No kiddin'! I don't see Hermione having a uge secret stash of romance novels but i think she'd be more likely to get carried away in the stories of them than Ginny or Luna lol.
