Oh my, that's a real cliffhanger. I'll react more on thiis in my next review, though. I loved this chapter, especially the part where Harry was telling Ginny about what sort of house he wanted. It was simply beautiful and made me quite emotional, not that you don't make me emotional in all your other chapters.

Oh wow! That was unexpected. I like that George thinks it is good news. I am sure he will be able to work out what to do.
Ginny know exactly how to get what she wants! I'm with Harry and being a bit reluctant in the girlfriend's parent's house!
It was sad that they had not got back their easiness with each other and the ability to talk about anything...I'm glad it seems to be well on the way to being sorted. I loved Harry's impassioned speech about their future:-)

One more comment I forgot to include. I listen to music as I read, so I am creating a soundtrack in my head. Bottles & Bones by Califone is a great song for the scene I mentioned. Not necessarily the lyrics, but the tune and the feel of the song. Great work again!

I have to say, what you wrote (above thru when the boys come into the dorm) is some of the best writing I have had the pleasure to read, definitely in the Harry Potter series and it ranks right up there on my all time list. The imagery, the emotion...well done. I have to say I was worried, there were a few chapters where it felt like you lost focus maybe. But this chapter got me fully hooked on your story again. Great work!

Hey Kezza,
After a reasonably light chapter i expected a heavy or emotionally charged chapter to follow and boy did you not disappoint.
I really found it compelling and thought-provoking to see how Harry's life with the Dursley's affects his life still. it was really well done and your imagery about the space of love under the stairs was so beautiful I cried. I love Harry's vision of his future and struck me as pure harry as i imagined him from Jo's epilogue.
I thought the little discussion between Harry, Sebastian and Donald regarding the potential evilness of their professors intriguing. I am cautiously hopeful that this will develop into something more.
You made me cry again with the moment between Harry and George at the shop. If I could imagine what it would be like to miss a twin the loneliness is what I would see. I was so sad for George reading his confession.
This really seems the chapter for Dursley tidbits as you show us yet again the affect of life at the Dursley's for Harry. I think his ability to clean is one of the least unlikable affects despite the way in which it came about was maddening, but it is very effective in demonstrating the difference between your average young male and Harry and thus indicating the abuse. It is unfortunate that situation's like Harry's aren't more uncommon in reality too.
An errant thought occurred to me when Fleur went to write her letter: what is happening with Bill and Ron in Egypt? It feels like an age since they left and I find it ominous in the least that we have yet to hear something, anything.
The discussion about the time the Trio were on the run was a really tidy connection to Deathly Hallows. As i was reading I was immediately transported back to how I saw all those events unraveling in canon. I wouldn't want to be Bill or Ron when Molly sees them next tough.
OMG! Line of the chapter: "She's pregnant." I never saw that one coming and subsequently feel like I have been hit by a bus or what I imagine that feels like. What is it with you and these evil cliffie's I have been noticing of late? lol.

Ah, nothing like a random pregnancy to spice up a story. Kudos again Kezza for a great chapter. I particularly like the part about Fred and George and how they always split the prep duties for dates. Also the part where H/G get their heads out of their asses and put some of that True Love (registered trademark) to good use.
Author's Response: Random? It's not random! it's a very well thought out and integral plot point! Okay ... so I thought about it and it does pertaiin a little to the plot and ... anyway it's not random or spicy! :P They put the True Love to good use? Where? When did that happen? How? (I wonder if it took three hours ... *evil twisted grin*)

Hi, my name is Beth and I'm an addict. I have a Sirius (sorry, couldn't help myself) addiction to Rebuilding Life, as well as other Kezza reads. This said, you really don't need to leave cliff hangers, they just feed the addiction. That said. Well done. another fine chapter. Harry continues to grow up... looks like George will too, very quickly. A few more morsels too ponder: things in the vault, what is Hermione upto; to be added to the Gryffindor room and who is trying to kill Harry. You keep throwing out red herrings and I'm patiently waiting, like a mongoose for a snake. It is always interesting to see how you tie up all these threads into your tapestry.
I was rereading some of your first chapters and I noticed growth in your writing. Thank you for sharing this excellent story. It truly is one of the best out there.

Author's Response: Update isn't too far away actually ... :D Also have a new one shot coming out in about two weeks probably. May this tide you over my dry spell caused by the 'end of year' events in my home where I have to attend any number of child related activities and various other comittments that coem with and about Christmas and the end of the calender year. Oh yeah and glad you are still enjoying the story :D

I'm glad that Harry and Ginny could have some down time at the Burrow. It was great to hear Harry be so honest about his time on the run. Interesting that Ron won't talk about it.
More power to Ginny for seducing her man! You go girl!
Bless George's heart. He just can't seem to catch a break. This will be good for him tho'. Love that he can to Harry, but why not Ron? He seems to be close to him. Not complaining just curious.

Oh my, Ginny can be VERY persuavise. At first the news of Angelina being pregnant sounds terrible but if they love each other it may force them to focus on a new chapter in their lives. Let's hope Harry followed his excellent advice and George isn't so distracted that he can't see the gifts (future wife and child) he has waiting for him. Harry seems to be the one trying to solve everyone's problems, be it orphans or family. Hope he indulges himself on a treasure hunt to his vaults to see what he can find. Nice chapter.

Well, what can I say? You have delivered yet another truly spectacular chapter...Even excellent fan-fiction normally has the odd weaker chapter, but not this one - it is in a league of its own for this genre. I thought that the analogy about there being no-cupboard under the stairs in Harry's imaginary future home was particularly ingenious. The perfect balance you maintain between fluff and angst/reality is also in need of commendation - you're characers truly behave as if they were real people. You have also managed to maintain a believable balance between Harry's scruples and desires - the way he knew that he should resist Ginny but gave in eventually... Well, you acknowleged the human side of our hero. And the Georg/Angelina bomb shell! Almost worthy of a fic of it's own. And I should imagine that it may serve as a poignant (agh - spelling!) reminder to the Weaseys about possible consequences of intimacy, followed by some lovely, awkward cnnversations. Once again, utterly fabulous. :D
