poor al. I hope that he still stays friends with Miri though. They seemed like good enough friends. I hope that Al will come to see that not all slytherins are pure evil... a lot of them are nice, and were sorted into Slytherin because they had ambitous plans later on. I wouldn't be surprised if Percy was in Slytherin. He's very ambitous.
Author's Response: Yeah, I always thought that PErcy should be a Gryffindore, he's never shown particular bravery... (well, not until DH.) Miri... she's going to have her moments in later chapters. Thanks for leaving a review!

EXCELLENT! I loved the fact that you wrote a post-epilogue story! It's Heather, by the way. And the reason I chose to comment on this chapter is because I loved the Sorting Hat Song!!! I really do :) Albus seems like a very likable character. So does "Greer, Allison!" Great writing, I can't wait to read the rest!

It's been 19 years since the Last Battle and as JKR said, Harry and Ron and Hermione were instrumental in reforming the Ministry and probably wizarding society as well. We are in a new era and i suspect that Slytherins aren't as bad as they used to be and that interhouse relations should be in better shape.
Still, poor Al is not where he ants to be and he has a HUGE challenge on his hands. I can't wait to see who his other friends become and how the story develops.

Interesting start.
I can't wait to see how the adults react. I wouldn't be surprised if Harry and Ginny, though especially the latter, remain true to what Harry told Al at the train station, but I'm really curious as to how Ron'll react.
Author's Response: Well, you're in for a surprise... :D. I've decided to do, erm, interesting reactions from the adults, and although they might not be 100% in character, I think I've done an okay job. But that's not until ch. 5...

When reading the epiloge of DH, I remember thinking vaguly, "I wonder if Al really does get sorted into Slytherin..."
I then remembered that DH was, in fact, the last book. JKR could tell us what house he was sorted into, but that just wouldn't be the same as reading it in a story. So I had hoped that someone would write a fan fic with that very plotline. And now you have!
I'm looking forward to reading this story and whatching as Al deals with being sorted into the "wrong" house.
