I don't see why Dumbledore should have veto power of the choice. He's already made a mistake, and to me that means he should give others the opportunity to make decisions.

Good chapter. I wonder if these plans will include a wedding. ;-)

I'm also wondering if you plan on going all the way back to Harry's second year to whenever he defeats Voldemort, probably seventh year. That'd be awesome. I love long stories... well, as long as they get finished. ;-)
