What a sad memory, forget embarrassing. That's going to break GInny's heart. Harry seemed to have quite a shift this chapter on his attitude towards writing Ginny. Progress is a good thing.

I have to admit that the scene with Harry and Dudley was very original, and well done. I can picture the young boy wanting to do that, but then the expression on his face afterward. Harry's feelings are beginning to progress in an expected direction, but looking back at the other chapters, I'm not making any bets about the results. Ginny is mischievous isn't she? The only sad part is that the twins won't be there when the prank is sprung (as they so much love to do). They can send it on to Aunt Marge and her bulldogs when it is done on Privot Drive. Eric B.

Great chapter! Harry is reaching out to Ginny, and he doesn't even realize it. You really bring out, it a nice subtle way, why Harry is so damaged, which is one of the things that makes him so intriguing to Ginny. Excellent job!

Definitely my favourite chapter so far. I particularly enjoyed the twins' role, and their comments about research and Prof. McGonagall. One (hopefully) constructive suggestion: watch out for your continuity. For me, Harry realising that he's enjoying corresponding with Ginny is a bit of a stretch too far given that at that point he's only written to her once.

Actually, he's written sever times, I think. In chapter 8, right? Yeah, he's written three times. Thats really a lot with a pen pal. Thanks for reviewing!

Great chapter, I can't wait to see what happens with the cat. like how you capture Harry's thoughts that Ginny wouldn't reall want to be his friend, and I look forward to Ginny's reaction when she realizes he sent her what really was his most embarrassing moment.

I really like where you are taking this story. I think you are handling their young emotions quite well; Harry's want for the perfect friend is very fitting. I like it. :)
