Interesting all the way through. I see now the summary is literally true about two becoming one. I'd forgotten the summary but probably read it as a mere poetic expression. I never read the prologue but may go back some time and read it.
Again, there is a fascinating correlation (?) with my Noble Spirit where they share feelings slightly more and more as the story progresses but nowhere to the extent that this fic does! And I swear I've never read this before! I just discovered Part 2 yesterday and only because it was recently complete.
Very readable so far but I'm hoping the entwining of these two doesn't become tediously repetitive.
btw my ratings are uniformly slightly low so it balances out. I measure fics against Dickens and Rowling and Tolkien and Austen and other classics so don't be offended if I never give a perfect ten.

It's really very interesting. The concept of shared senses, memories, thoughts and everything really between Harry and Ginny. It's remarkable how you made it work for them.
You're a very, very good writer. Very impressive.

ive read several other fanfics that include a telepathic/soul link, but from thos that i can recall, none of them have taken the telepathic link to this extent as to constantly feeling/seeing the other person. 2 chapters down and im already LOVING these differences! great work!

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter, I've wanted to have such a friend with whom I could be so intimately involved, with permission of that person. It seems that they are totally accepted and loved and not rejected. We all need to be with others, to be loved. You've exlimpfied this. You're a very good writer, especially showing the great level of conversation between the people. Please, continue writing.. Tom
Author's Response: I think it would be nice, too. Thanks very much.

"I’ve always wondered what it would feel like to have one of those."
That was hilarious. Harry's response was equally amusing.
I hadn't really intended to leave a review for each chapter, but so far, there has been something I felt the need to comment on in each one. I don't know if I'll keep it up, but I'll definitely keep reading.
Author's Response: You're certainly welcome to say whatever you feel like for any chapter. Those particular lines are fun for me because they vastly oversimplify an issue that can't possibly be simple.

Dave,
Another great chapter. I really loved the conversation between Harry and Ginny. They seem to be very mature for the age, but I totally understand it as a consequence not only of who they are, their life experiences (at least on Harry's end), as well as their bond. Yet, their conversation still possessed the innocence and wonder of children their age. I thought was very humorous as they contemplated the intricacies of the "plumbing" of the opposite sex. I know that in future chapters you address the "problems" and consequences of their sharing of their senses. That makes really interested to know just how they will experience the pleasure of real kissing and intimate physical union (and all that it entails) when they get older. I don't know if you plan on addressing that issue during the course of the series. I was going to say I hope that you didn't because they should really wait to get married before they engage in sexual union, but then I realized that they are for all practical purposes truly already married, as they are one. So maybe the addressing of that circumstance may definately surface in later installments of the series.
It is a testament to the low self-image that Harry possesses about himself that he immediately thinks that Mrs. Weasley would not want Harry specifically in her daughter's head (or quite literally heart and soul!) I am glad that Ginny understands and recognizes Harry's comment for what it is and corrects his interpretation. I really love your Ginny for many reasons. One of them is that Ginny is not the blushing, shy, little girl we see in canon. No doubt the Oneness that they share contributes much to that, but the way that you explained her personality and character in last chapter makes me think that even had this union not taken place, your Ginny would still not have been like the canon version of Ginny. I love to see Ginny's fiestyness, fiery personality, and beauty of soul shining forth so early in the story for all to see. I love that Harry and Ginny are getting to share such an extraordinary bond (I almost wish I could take Harry's place!!!)
Great chapter and I eagerly look forward to reading the next one!

Author's Response: There are loads and loads of ramifications to Harry and Ginny's situation. In a way, the whole series is about exploring those ramifications, and I don't intend to skip much of it. I will, of course, remain within my own boundaries of taste.
It's interesting to me that you're wondering about Ginny's pre-union character. That's a very good question to ask. Based on chapter 2 (Silence Shattered), what might Ginny have been like if she had not met Harry? No one seems to have really contemplated that yet, but I've always said that it's very important to the story in some ways.
And, much as we might like it, Ginny would not be Ginny if she were connected to anyone but Harry. =)
Thanks again for the thoughtful reviews.

Fascinating. It kind of reminds me to Intromit's Fate's Debt, but I think I read on your profile that your story is inspired by it. Be as it may, it's an outstanding piece of work
Author's Response: Yes, I borrowed Intromit's starting point on the platform. It becomes different very quickly, though. Thanks for reading.

wow this is so cool! i've only read one other reworking of cannon before and that began at the end of book 2, rather than the beginning of book 1. i also really like Harry and Ginny's ability to speak... i'll call it telepathically. i'v always liked that idea in stories adn the harry adn ginny in my head often have than capability, although i've never writen a story with that element. awesome story!
Author's Response: Thanks!

Nicely done. Same general idea as 'Fate's Debt', but with markable difference in the way it works. On to the next chapter!

So, does this mean that the aspect failed to keep the two marbles apart, or is Ginny just a distraction to keep Harry away from someone else. I sure hope you didn't mean for snake-face and harry to be the two marbles...
Author's Response: I think you might have the marbles mixed up. Thinker was successful in preventing contact between the first two aspects in question.

Wow, you kept the quality of your work up!
I'm especially impressed with the soul bond between Harry and Ginny. It has been done countless times before, but all those attempts pale against what you did with it. The amount of thought and realism put into this is amazing. I'm looking forward to more.

Wow, this specially close bond that you have come up with is going to be very very challenging to write if you dont have them learn how to seperate themselves a bit. Thugh you did moderate it a bit after the first few paragrapsh so that is a good sign. Writing two individuals as a single character is daunting because it is beyond anyone experience, very difficult to do well and have it not be unfathamable.
This is very intresting.
Author's Response: 'Daunting' is a good description of it. I can really only guess what such a thing would be like, and I hope that the result is believable and original.

You're travelling to another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound... but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land, whose boundaries are only that of the imagination... you're entering... the Twilight Zone ...
The key here is mind, naturally. Just whose mind is it? Is it one mind in two, or is it two minds in one? If Harry can see Ginny's past, can Ginny see Harry's past, and will that combine to make a new past, or an old future? If Harry stands on one side of the international dateline, and Ginny on the other, will they see the future and the past more clearly than any Seer? And how much peripheral vision will they experience before realizing that a literal four eyes can be rather disorienting?
Will they daydream jointly, or individually? Will the perception of reality be skewed since their respective thoughts will mingle to make one impression? Or will they maintain dual citizenships across the Magical and Muggle worlds?
Puzzles that have no pieces are always the most interesting.
Author's Response: I unbold thee!
Fun questions. Fun answers.
One. Yes. Wrong story. Arbitrariness has no effect on reality, but so would anyone else. Not if you're a bug. Smoke it. We need more doors. Too much paperwork.
See?

I forgot to leave this review for the last chapter. But I absolutely loved that reality actually TWITCHED. That was a freaking awesome image.
