Wow! If you wanted the reader to feel sympathetic for Malfoy, then this is the way to do it. We know, of course, that Bellatrix isn't above killing her own family -- we've known that ever since she killed Sirius back at the end of OotP. Thus she kills Draco because he's disobeyed Voldie, Snape for helping Draco, and Ernie Macmillan, just because he's in the way -- eerily familiar of Wormtail's murder of Cedric at the end of GoF. I'd expect nothing less from one of Voldie's most loyal followers.
Overall, a bit scary, but a good story nonetheless. I wish you luck in the challenge!

Whoaaa! That was bloody amazing to read, it really caught my attention! I really like how you portrayed the characters; it made me think J.K.R. left this little piece off HBP ;D Good luck in the competition!

I thought it was extremely refreshing that you gave insight into the loss of Draco's family. Even if they are 'evil', I think they care a lot about each other. Good luck with the challenge.

I liked how you stayed canon with the end of book six and picked up from there. It seemed like a natural flow from where JK's left off.
