this is a cool idea... fighting lessons from a stone basin! i also think they should have just told ron... he knew something was up adn he knew that he was speciffically being left out... i think the quartet should have stayed together and shared that knowledge... although i can understand the reluctance on teh part of harry adn ginny... ron might not be all that pleased!

Just once, couldn't the twins actually think of something for Harry besides joke products?
I mean, Harry just doesn't use them very much.
Can you please get Harry and Ginny away from Molly?

Excellent -- I especially like your portrayal of Hermione just after Harry tells his friends about the Prophecy: I can readily imagine her going rather "hyper" with excitement. :-) And Ron being clueless (& resentful because of that) came across quite well also.

Ron and Hermione took the news of the prophesy as well as could be expected. Poor Ron. Clueless, better for him that way though; I don't think he's ready to have his questions answered even though he thinks he is. I think that is is great that they are training physically as well as defensively. They need to be ready emotionally as well, but I think that will go with the confidence they are building with everything else they are learning. Great chapter. Please update soon.
