Canon is the concept of keeping to known facts from a reference or in this case, JKR's published works of Harry Potter.
The Challenge is to write a story with no less than 10 and no more than 20 errors that are NOT canon. The trick is to write them so nobody can find them. They will be judged by how many canon errors can be found by any of our readers and posted in your reviews. The less canon errors found the better the score. They will also be judged on the normal grading standards like grammar, spelling, style, quality, etc.
Each author will submit two copies of the same story. One will be submitted to SIYE for all to read and find the canon errors. The second story will be a duplicate copy sent to SirOllivander@hgnetwork.co.uk clearly showing all the canon errors. If a dispute arises, JKR's books and www.hp-lexicon.org and will be the ultimate authority.
