After another evening in the common room trying to determine if Harry fancies her more than just friendship, Ginny goes to bed frustrated. Lily Potter, looking down from the afterlife, decides to help her train to assist Harry in fighting the war against Voldemort and to win over her son, not necessarily in that order. So, as Ginny sleeps, she and Lily collaborate their efforts in her mind.
The Challenge is to write a story about how Lily tutors Ginny and how Ginny uses her new knowledge.
The Dreams that Guide Us by redheadedfervor [Reviews - 24]
Ginny Weasley doesn't know what to feel. It has been drawn to her attention that a certain Boy-Who-Lived might be beginning to see her as more than just his best mate's little sister. But Ginny now has a boyfriend, and after having given up on Harry, she's afraid to hope again only to be hurt. To make matters worse she's having a strange, reoccurring, dream about a girl with long red hair and Harry's eyes. She couldn't be more confused.

** Winner of Best Adventure in the Girl Talk Challenge **
Three months into her fifth year at Hogwarts, Ginny Weasley starts having dreams with none other than Lily Potter, the mother of a certain green-eyed boy. Lily has plenty to offer in terms of extra lessons and advice, but as the Wizarding World falls under the lengthening shadow of the returned Lord Voldemort, perhaps the best help Lily can offer is friendship. Canon-compliant, written for SIYE Girl Talk Challenge 2010.

How It Is Up There by Pilargirl [Reviews - 13]
Dreams are strange things. You wake up in them, knowing people you actually don't and speaking about things that you've never spoken about. They're not reasonable, you don't tend to know you're in a dream and there no rationalizing. Here, Ginny Weasley is in a dream with the one and only Lily Potter.

Wings! by Spenser Hemmingway [Reviews - 7]
“To sleep--perchance to dream, ay, there’s the rub; for in that sleep of death what dreams may come?” For Ginny, the answer to Hamlet’s question may finally be answered. For a small child, the answer must be avoided at all costs. For a loving mother and grandmother, the answer is the key to her family’s future. For someone from another future, a valuable opportunity has presented itself. Naturally, all of it leads to yet another story for our favorite inept carpenter. By the way, yes folks--Zu Zu Bailey’s teacher was correct.
