As part of their education, students entering their seventh year must engage in a summer job in cooperation with the merchants of Diagon Alley and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Professor Flitwick is in charge of coordinating this adult, work-learning endeavor. Each student will work a 20-hour week for four weeks. What days and when their hours are during the day or night depends on the job.
