Welcome to the Summer (4-2005) Challenge, one day before JKR's sixth book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is to be released. Because of this significant event, this Challenge is to be a short one. There are three situations to choose from; choose as many as you like. The author's challenge is to write a story to satisfactorily explain the situation using no more than "about 2500" words. No detention for going over a few words. The 1000-word minimum still applies.
The three situations are:
1) Harry receives a message that Ginny Weasley has been arrested and is in a Muggle London jail. She's asking Harry to get her out.
2) Bill goes upstairs to tell Ginny breakfast/ lunch/ or dinner is ready. Charlie meets him coming downstairs. When Bill opens her bedroom door, both brothers don't see Ginny, but they see Harry sound asleep in her bed.
3) After a few hours in the common room, Ron and Ginny go to the Hogwarts library to meet Harry and Hermione. On the way, they find the two kissing in an empty classroom.
