Reviews For Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past

It's so perfectly Harry Potter at that point in his life. It makes me sit back and reflect on what kind of life the kid has had where he would sacrifice himself for people he hasn't even met. It's so well thought out and well-written. ^_^ Especially how he comes up with this whole plan. I can picture this matured Harry moving about in this tiny 11-year-old Harry. I love your writing overall. I felt his terrible fear when he thought of meeting the Weasleys and I felt his pure hatred when he saw Scrabbers. One of my favorite scenes was the one where the younger Harry meets the older Harry and lets the latter enter him. Anyway, good job! No wonder why so many people love this story! =] Reviewer: Chreechree Signed Date: 2006.05.08 - 05:25AM Title: Welcome to Sunny Surrey Oh, this really is fun. Seeing Harry nudge certain things here and there is interesting. So far, he's doing well. He was certainly smooth with the Goblins, and buying Grunnings is pretty ingenious. Yes, he really is going to have to let so many things play out. Of course, my strategy would be to tell Dumbledore (at least after the Chamber) and remove all the Horcruxes before Voldemort is resurrected. He does have to be careful because preventing many distasteful things could cause other things that need t happen not to, etc. Quite the quandary. His reaction to hearing Molly's voice and, in particular, seeing Ginny and holding her hand were heartwarming. Really well done. I like the handshake thing with Fred and George, but I find the finishing each others sentences bit a bit hard too read. The thing that I would really like to fix is the Yule Ball. I think that everything would just turn out a lot better if Harry asked Ginny straight off (And Ron ask Hermione, of course). Think of all the arguments that would never happen!
I was wondering, is this story going to span all seven years, or will you give each year a separate story?
Keep up the fantastic work! (And please update quickly, I can't wait)

Well written, too, despite the American spelling and the Yanks ("Overpaid, over-sexed and over here!") in the first chapter. ;-)
Definitely a nine so far. I do find it somehow strange that harry decided to go so far back in time, since that actually makes it look impossible that things will turn how they should.
Oh well, i'm really curious to see how you'll try to patch things up.
Keep up the good work | |||||||
