Great! I also like the fact that Harry has been able to overlook the prejudicial feeling towards Slytherins to befriend Millicent. You're doing a great job in writing your story. I got a kick out of them flirting with Hermione (their little cheating battle was priceless) although Harry is right that it could cause serious problems. Remarking on their joke shop though – brilliant! That will keep them guessing. Harry kissing Ginny on the forehead was so bittersweet – the way he squeezed her shoulders to try to convey emotion to her that she can’t truly understand at this point and that he can’t act on until he can tell her the truth. Poignant moment. What you’re doing with Percy is very interesting. He and Harry both made oaths, so let’s see how this changes things for them down the line. His taking care of Malfoy and Harry’s verbal reinforcement of that act seemed like a good start. The memory of Hermione’s death was excruciating, one of the worst we’ve seen so far. Harry and Ginny’s revenge on the twins had me literally chortling. While I laugh loudly often, I rarely chortle, so kudos to you. As to more in-depth reviews, I have to say that I honestly cannot come up with any criticisim other than what I have in a preivous review: that I think you have Snape wrong, according to Canon. But you can't very well change him now, can you? When I praise the story I am also not long winded, because who wants to gush like a teeny bopper? As a reader, I hate to see fawning reviews for less well-written stories, as it takes away from the praise writers like you deserve. But I still like to drop a word of praise whnever I read an update, because I am thrilled when you do it, and definitely want you to continue.
