omg! i SO thought you loved Gilderoy Lockhart.... Personally... i like what happened to him in CoS

While I can’t say I like Lockhart as a person, he’s a wonderful character – just like Draco, Snape, and (shudder) Umbridge. They’re all unpleasant in different ways, but they do make the story richer. Lockhart really is an idiot. At least he’s unintentionally funny. I like how you made him look even worse by his remark about the class not really being important. Negligent SOB is right. Well, I’m sad to see that I wasn’t imagining things with Percy. I’m almost surprised that he didn’t try harder to get the Slytherins in trouble… almost. Harry made a good point about anyone asking Percy how he felt about taking Harry in. And Little Luna! It’s strange seeing her so young. She’s fun as always. The Luna/ Hermione dynamic is off to an interesting start. The poor Sorting Hat really was going against what he saw when he obviously reluctantly placed her in Gryffindor. Reading Harry’s remarks re. Einstein after he used Legillimancy on her, I can see why. Still, the Hat saw that her life was not good in Ravenclaw. Of course, while it puts her with Harry et al. now, who is to say that it won’t end up being worse for her in some ways by being a Gryffindor. All very interesting. Of course, I’m curious to see if Luna had preferences of her own… Very well done!

This is an impressive story. I'm really enjoying reading it. I can't wait for what's to come. I understand your feelings about Lockhart, I can't stand him either.

Truly one of the best pieces on HGnetwork. I was a bit put off at teh beginning by the American war mages. That did not feel sympathetic to the univers of the books, but perhaps that was deliberate. The whole first year, with its convergences and divergencies was delightful. The story is diverging more and more... You are painting a very different picture of Harry's realationship with Dumbledore. It is facsincating. Keep up the good work.

I mostly nitpick about word choice, spelling, grammer and character developement. But this one, this was just fun, esp. Lockhart. Luna into Gryffindor? I believe Harry is losing opportunities to unify the student body by collecting his friends into one house. Luna as a link to Ravenclaw would be better strategy.

Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant! You finally have Chapter 18 up! Hoorah! Lockhart annoys the hell out of me, so I applaud you on the way you had Harry act towards him. Although the whole time I was wishing Harry would put him in his place ... I have to say, this story is getting better by the chapters. I rather enjoy the stories that don't have all of the Harry/Ginny fluff in it. It makes the story more interesting, eh? Again, marvelous job! Keep the chapters coming! :D zafiro

This chapter took long enough but your story is so great that I can't help myself checking every now and then in this site to read whats next in this wonderfully Harry Potter re-writer universe. I even look in other places that your story has been posted like phonenix feather with the hope of finding another chapter updated. Keep going with this marvelous work, I hope to read the next chapter soon, and the next after that and the 21, 22, 23... well you have the picture, jajaja. But I really mean it: you are doing a hard (cause I think writing this story isn't easy) and a GREAT work. I think that is good to imagine that in another life Harry Potter was more happy that in the one JK Rowling wrote, I mean, JK Rowling story is fantastic but I still feel sorry time to time for all the suffering Harry endurance, anyway, yours was a good idea of Harry Potter Fan Fiction.
