I love how playful you make Dumbledore, it makes me laugh everytime. I've needed them lately, I know you wrote this a while ago but I just found these fanfictions by you.

I found the meeting with giants quite enjoyable. The Chamber of Knowledge was a nice addition also though I was hoping it would be something Harry could only tell Ginny when she became a Potter and couldn't tell Ron and Hermione.

PS: Its become rather enjoyable to count how many times you used the word: enthused. Can't say I've ever heard it used in a story until I read this one and it appears quite often.
Author's Response: What can I say, I'm an enthusiastic person myself. When you write stories of over a million words total, you find yourself repeating words at times.

havin dumbledor also be an heir of gryffindor was too much. it would have been better to have dumbledor only know about the chamber from rumors of if harry's father or grandfather had shown it to him. the way that you have it written dumbledor would be a cloose relative, most likely a great-gradfather simply because he is still alive and there have been other "heirs of gryffindor" after him. if that were true thre why would dumbledor not tell harry of their rerlation to eacher other knowing of harr's hunger for family. the way that you have it written leaves a lot to be desired. it would have been better to have harry as the only heir of gryffindor left.

This is very interesting. I like how you worked the Giants into it. I've seen them in the battle before, but in no other fics, have I read Dumbledore trying to get the Giants not to fight again, as he did in the books. I like that you included the Ministry, and I like that you made Madame Bones Minister. So many people make Arthur Minister, and I don't think (Though he deserves it and would make a great Minister) I don't think he'd accept it, it's too much responsibility; though I think he could do a lot in getting people to respect muggleborns a lot more.

hey again! I've been kept to doing my homework for a while, had some exams too =| lol! wow..so far so good! My fave part was of the gurg's gifts, they were very creative! Author's Response: Hi! I do understand about homework, and am glad that whatever "homework" I do these days is stuff I CHOOSE to do!! Ah, the college years. . .I'm glad they're long behind me!! heehee. Glad you liked the Gurg's gifts! And thanks for your kind words about my writing. Yes, I'm planning to write a "publishable" novel (my own, not based on JKR's or anyone else's work) as soon as Destiny is complete. I'm already making notes for it and trying to work out the problems of setting, the problem the hero has to deal with, etc. Characters are no problem, I can create them easily. My problem right now is deciding where and when the story is taking place, and what the "problem" is that makes the hero have to be a hero. I have lots of thinking to do. . . . ;-> Thanks for writing! I'm glad you're enjoying the fic!

Yeah, when I read fanfics (which I haven't for a couple of years now due to writing these two!), I do my best to only start FINISHED ones because so many authors quit in the middle for whatever reason. Never fear, Destiny is COMPLETE in first draft form except for the end of the epilog, and I'm nearly there with that. Then I have to polish the chapters that are still in first draft form, usually 10-12 polishes, then off to the betas, then usually 4 or 5 more polishes, then upload. It will all be on here eventually! I'm so glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for writing!

Author's Response: You must have been cross-eyed after reading that long! LOL! I'm glad you're enjoying the fics! Nope, Destiny is not online in full anywhere yet because I'm still writing it. I have the first draft finished through the end (chapter 34) and am nearing the end (I think!) of the epilog, but each chapter will be posted online one a week until it's done. Wow! Great chapter but I'm confused. I must have missed something. Harry and Dumbledore were talking as if Harry already knew he was related to Dumbledore. I don't remember them discussing it in this fic or the previous. How are they related? Can you point me to the fic and chapter where it was discussed so I can get up to date? Thanks.
Well, anyway, I loved the crystal ball idea and Harry conversing with his dad's portrait. Nice job with Gurg's gifts too. Well done!
Author's Response: Nope, Harry doesn't know if he's related to Dumbledore or not, or if so, how closely. There aren't many folks in Harry's bloodline left, nor have we heard of any relatives of Dumbledore's except for his brother Aberforth, so it could be a very very distant relationship, just as Neville's and Ron's are. Glad you liked the Seeing Glass and Harry's visits with James!
