Only a witch as clever as Hermione would think to research what was wrong with her. Harry's heart is too golden for his own good. Hermione could have been acting and hurt him but he wouldn't have thought of that because he has such good faith in his friends.
It's just like Dumbledore to be so calm while Harry's so embarrassed at the mention of having sexual relations with Hermione.
Surely Dumbledore would be the one person to realize Harry wouldn't want freeing Hermione from the spell to turn into a social gathering. I find it more credible to believe Dumbledore would want Ron and Ginny there to understand what has been going on with Hermione and that she's not herself.
If I were in Hermione's position I would be more than eager to take Veritaserum if it would solve everything.
It's funny to think of Bellatrix giving Hermione a manicure. Great mental image!
Ginny certainly is a "warrior princess"!
I wish I was as lucky to see Harry's bare bum!
I can't blame Ginny for punching Hermione, I don't think even I would have been able to restrain myself. I have temper myself, but not the temper of a redheaded Weasley!
Ok so first Snape shows a rare bit of concern for Harry - even if he masked it quickly - next he's actually complimenting James Potter? Wow. Maybe Snape isn't feeling well.
I loved Harry's comment. "And they all lived happily ever after - at least for a day or so." Let's hope Harry eventually gets his happily ever after.
Author's Response: Yup, I'm in favor of Harry getting his "happily ever after" too! And yes, Harry's heart is too golden for his own good and Hermione certainly was clever to research what was wrong with her!
My intention was that Ron and Ginny be there to understand what was going on with Hermione. Didn't I make that clear? (It's been literally years since I read this story, so my memory of such details is foggy.)

i wish could meet you face to face so that I could give you the applause that you so richly deserve. you are a fantastic author and i take my hat of and salute you for the work you have done to write this fanfiction story.
great chapter and i ike how they were able to solve the problem of hermione's enchantment and for its removal. also enjoyed the bit with regards to curing harry. my guess was correct when it came to madam desseree being bella lestrang. looking forward to more chapters to read and to review. 10/10

That was intense. Had to review for this one. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!!! This chapter and the couple before it were wonderful! I mean they were rather depressing at times and definitely shock-inducing but they were really good.

Poor Harry having to expose his bum to all those people. Maybe he and Pomfrey will have to come up with a new password since several people have no seen Harry's hidden scar. I assumed that Hermione was not likely to be acting on her own. Even if she did have feelings for Harry, she wouldn't persue him that way (not to mention the whole violent thing). Cool chapter.

Absolutely brilliant. WOW it's amazing how easily someone can be fooled. I knew Hermione wasn't acting like her self but I never imagined this. Excellant way to tie things together. Love the way your mind works. At least everything is out and cleared up. Damn Harry isn't safe anywhere.
