Ah, boys buying presents. They really are hopeless, but Harry certainly seems to have gotten it right. Ron picking perfume by 'just buying the biggest bottle he could afford' was worth a good laugh, too.

He sis, Thought the kitten was awesome. Cool, very cool. During their time in the perfume shope I laughed so hard I coked. Loved it. Ron and buying perfume, 'the biggest bottle I could afford' priceless. I remember getting 'eu-de-toliet' from my son, you know half a a quart for 99 cents.

Nice fluff. - I liked the bits about Harry not understanding his feelings for Ginny before. I do not necessarily agree, but it's an interesting idea. - Ginny's a bit clueless at the beginning isn't she? Harry more or less tells her, he loves her and she doesn't get it AND tells him, he wouldn't understand? That's a bit rich, honestly. - Apart from that, I'd avoid calling Harry etc. "the wizard" or "the witch" because it's so little personal, and I always wonder where that "wizard" apart from Harry suddenly comes from.
Author's Response: Interesting review. Yes, Ginny is clueless, but I think that in this case its self-preservation. She doesn't want to get her hopes up again.
I understand what you're saying about 'the wizard' and 'the witch' being impersonal, but I can't always use their names.

..."smile benevolently" ?...that would imply that we've been behaving like children or something...anyway, haven't had a chance to read for a while and loved this "one shot". I agree with a couple of comments that it just might need a sequel at some point. It was very well done, and having been a recipient of "benevolence" myself a few times I thought the exchanges between Harry & Ron were priceless. They both have spcialized realms of cluelessness that you have meshed perfectly...and while I puff up my chest and scratch myself, I'll admit you did a beautifull job with the fluffy stuff too...got to run, but am really looking forward to catching up on the chapters of Fairy Tales that I've missed.
