Hmmm, I had Anna's reaction to Malfoy's finger down to something more supernatural and sinister. Interesting bit of trickery, regardless.
And another fine chapter, even if I have nothing particularly helpful to add :)
I took the liberty of correcting a small glitch I spotted though (whereby Charlie's "mind had wondered").

Another great chapter! Don't think I like where Cissy is going with Anna! Suspect she now knows the link between Anna and Moldyshorts! Glad Charlie is back in the picture -- maybe just in time! Can't wait for the next one!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Author's Response: Thank you so much! Cissy always struck me as being quietly intelligent and observant. She is not the political player that her husband is, but I can imagine her being savvy enough regarding anyone that impacts her family. You're quite correct about Charlie showing up at an interesting time!

There's trouble ahead for sure! This was a good chapter but I felt the parts about the kids were only separating the other sections. They're not bad but they seem far less relevant than the rest.
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! Yes, definitely some trouble ahead I'm afraid. I understand your point about some scenes being more relevant than others. A drinking game among teenagers certainly doesn't seem vital. Having said that, I'm trying to show teenagers being teenagers even with a war brewing around them. I will also admit to dropping a couple of hints to future events among their banter!

I'm afraid it's a mistake to hide their doubts from Anna. She would be unsuspecting, in case Malfoy plans to lay hand on her again when she's back at Hogwarts. Too bad the Paternity Potion didn’t reveal that D.L. isn't a pure-blood. I just hope D.L. soon finds out that Mrs. Malfoy is prying about his personal matters.
I'm looking forward to reading about the next round of the game, and what it might reveal, and how Charlie meets Anna, for the first time when I remember well.
