Awh you see you have skills never have doubted that. You have a two sided Ginny though you have the one that makes me want to pull my hair out and the one that you write very well I don't know if you realize it but you should reread though this chapter specially you swap back and forth two times by my count. I don't like the kisses because of it just stringing us along most people for some damn reason you use this as a climax I have no problems with it as long as you don't have Voldy in the story this whole Ginny being crazy and Harry liking Ginny and Ginny liking Harry thing needs to be a back ground story I can only hope that you are writing it this way because of it being summer and not having anything better to write about.

well, I meant to go to bed, but I thought I'd read a little before heading off and here I am reading chapter 12!
I read a really badly written fanfic today, and reading yours made me realize that it's the dialogue that makes a good storyline into great, really readable bit of work, that draws you in and makes you think, "yeh, it could have just as easily happened like that." When the dialogue is off, the whole story is off kilter, and you write spot-on dialogue.

are they ever going to actually get together because your frustrating the crap out me right now and one of my friends says that ginny is too...well bitchy was the word he used. which i could see...but whatever just letting you know that ginny is a bit weird in this story though for the most part it works with the story line...its just frustrating that they're not together yet!!

well thats much better & is more like how this story srated out yes they do argue but they do it in a frendly way & because it away for them to get rid of any pent up agression there felling. I must admit killing of michel semmes a bit extream but it does mean they have an evan stronger coneection ie both felling guilty over someones deth to pull then evan closer together.
Sirus was absolutly spot on in this chapter & his bantering with both harry & ginny just felt very much in charecter. as for the punch bag well at lest it better than taking out there agression on each other & harry get to notice ginny a girl a lot sonner (i still have trouble with cannon that hary some how failed to notice ginny until his sixth year dam he relly should have got new glasses). the kiss at the end was very incharecter for both of then implusive full of pashion rather explosive but they still seam to have trouble seeing how well they firt together which i am a bit diaponted in but as you have about 50 chapters if they do get together to earley you may be tempted to split them up or a short time before a reconcilation which a hopping dosent happan. my only majour concern is that they seam to revert back to there cannon selvs in the time between the chapter as you have indicated that both dean & choo are still featured now givan how dfrent they have become i wonder how wise that is because if they are only in it ofr a chapter or two i would rather have a shoter story with out them than lengthen the story just to include them but as it pre written i just have to wait & see how you handele it but please no more yull ball as thos two chapter relly didn & iam going to treat them as a blip in the story rather than the gennrall tone of the story as they were quite diffrent in tone from the other chapters posted.
I noticed on review mention you posted on another site where those chapters were better riceved as i only relly use siye i am going to guess that its a more generall hpfan fic site where the get all sort of couples & where a self centered bratty ginny (Which wether you ment to or not is how she came acroos in the yull ball & it athremath chapters) is a more common occurance wher as on siye for obvoius resons i think your was a first & iw ould have though you would have been prepared for some fairly hrsh reviews anyway that in the past & i lookforward to reding the next chapter some time tommorow when its validated.

Well, I have to admit, I definitely wasn't expecting you to get rid of Michael in that way. It was shocking and rather sad. I think Ginny put it best when she said the worst part was that she didn't even love him. I can definitely see that adding to her feelings of guilt.
Ron's development at the beginning of the chapter was also surprising, and it was a very welcome departure from the norm. After reading several Ron-bashing stories lately, it's nice to see one where he gets his act together about Hermione sooner, rather than later.
I'm also really enjoying Sirius's observations of Harry and Ginny's relationship. He's spot on -- they're about the most oblivious people in the world right now. The kiss near the end, and then Harry's comment to Sirius ("Not a bloody word."), was absolutely hilarious.
One of the interesting effects of Ginny having a connection to Voldemort is that people have started getting hurt because of their association with her. I wonder if that will have an effect later on, and show Harry that he can't protect her by keeping his distance the way he tried to do in canon. Anyway, this was a very good chapter. I see the next one has been submitted, and I look forward to being able to read it.

Ugh! I just wrong a long review and it didn't post for some reason. Well, here's the short of it--love the chapter, adore how you're mimicking Kara and Lee's relationship with Harry and Ginny. The way H & G touch each other and rely on each other is very well done and, just like as in BSG, gives us a sort of romance even though we know the characters are going to go through hell before ending up with each other. Much better job of characterizing H & G and showing us their relationship.
Sirius is fantastic and I could see him trying to meddle because he wants his godson to be happy. Love how Sirius' meddling contrasts with how Harry approached the Ron/Hermione issue... That's something I'd love to thank you for--not making Ron an a**hole and not estranging Harry from his friends. Personally, I think Harry's got enough enemies without adding Ron and Hermione to the list...
Can't wait for Umbridge! For a moment I thought you might make her Admiral Cainesque but that might not work since Cain did have *some* positive traits and Umbridge is the devil incarnate. Oh! Just occurred to me that Snape is like Colonel Tigh (if Harry is Kara for my little analogy)! Is your Snape a cylon too ;-)
There are may questions floating around my head but most important is why Harry didn't have to go back to Privet drive for even a few weeks. I think it might help to have some explanation of why Dumbledore has given up on the blood wards. And it seems like Ginny is a horocrux but how will she survive since canon Harry only survived because he blood was used in the rebirthing ritual?
What else? Love the length of the chapter. Personally, I'd be fine with fewer updates if we get longer chapters like this one....
Author's Response: Yeah, I think this fic makes more sense if you're a fan of BSG. You've hit the nail on the head when you say they will have to go through hell before ending up with each other. Although my H&G won't be near as bad a Kara and Lee. I hadn't even thought about Snape being Colonel Tigh but you're right! And he may be a Cylon!
Ginny isn't a Horcrux, in fact there are no Horcruxes in this story. She just has a connection with Voldemort. It's a soul connection but it's not like being a Horcrux. It's more simple than that.

I can't imagine Harry being forward enough to, even playfully, pat/smack Ginny's backside before they become a formalized couple. Other than that, I love the story. Some parts are a little sparse in dialog/description, but otherwise it's a joy to read.

So I've been reading other reviews you've been getting for the last few chapters and I feel like I should apologize or something...they really didn't seem to like your story. I however LOVE this story. I get super excited when I see that you've updated. i absolutely love their physical affection! Of course I know we all want them to hurry up and get together, but since you're staying pretty close to canon, we still have to go through Dean and Cho :( Oh well, I think you're doing a great job with this and I so cannot wait until the next chapter. So I'm going to have to go back and reread this until a new chapter comes (because I love it so much!). Awesome job!
