I think it takes some reflection to realize how much Andromeda's lost -- we have Fred gone and while we are aware of Remus and Tonks, it tends to be from Harry's viewpoint, or Teddy's, and Andromeda gets lost in the shuffle. And of course, it takes some doing to realize anyone will mourn Bellatrix Lestrange.
The interplay between Harry, Ginny and Teddy was simply wonderful; I suppose it was indeed fluff, but it was high-quality fluff.
Malfoys -- I wonder if Andromeda knows what Narcissa did for Harry, and if that would change anything for her? I wonder, too, if Draco came on his own or was nudged?
Ah, well. In any event, more of your wonderful fiction. I will have to visit your other sites and see what you've written. It's always a pleasure to have good stories one can look forward to reading.

I know I've read this before--I don't know why I haven't reviewed till now. I love this story. I particularly like the interaction between Andromeda and the Malfoys. I'm glad to see that the Malfoys are showing true regret and that everyone is rebuilding old relationships and strengthening new ones!

A very good story. I enjoy the poignant and bitter sadness mixed with a teaspoon of sugar to make it more palatable. It is no small task to condense so much development into such a short story, but you have done admirably. I will say that the tense of the story took me a few paragraphs to accustom myself to. I'm not a large fan of present tense fiction, however, I can see the impact it has on the story giving it an immediacy that past tense would lack. Good job, and a very nice ending.

This was a truly fantastic story and well worth the Silver Trinket you were awarded! I felt so sorry for Andromeda, but I was really pleased to see that Harry and Ginny managed to make an appearance, armed with fluff of course! I'm glad to see the way you've portrayed the Malfoys too, and I love the little nod to Voldemort's comment to Draco at the start of DH - that was truly hilarious! Everyone was really in character and the story just worked perfectly. Fantastic!

ZOMG. That was the best ending EVER. I never saw it coming, not even after Cissy's bit at the funeral (which so nearly made me cry, by the way). My favourite part was reading about Harry and Ginny looking after Teddy, him imitating their appearances, and Andromeda reminiscing about how Tonks used to be. So sorry I missed this! Wonderful. I did feel very sorry for Andromeda after losing her husband and daughter and left with a baby. As always, you captured the emotions and characters very well.
