Recovering Hermione's parents was in some ways easier than I thought it would be.

Amazing chapter! The moment when the Weasley brothers asked Harry to take of Ginny was priceless and I absolutely loved the article Luna wrote! It made all of them remember home and remember what they were missing. I hope the Daily Prophet will stop making false stories about Harry and Ginny now.

Hmmmm. Harry calling Ginny's bluff while he's changing--not sure I believe that she'd have given up so quickly, although it probably fits her character better than sticking around.
Glad to see that Bill's starting to realize the depth of feelings that H/G share--not that he has any right to interfere, but still.
Thanks! Oh, and I love that Ron had to spend all that time floating around!

I'm surprised that Bill cant see how much Harry loves Ginny. Maybe he doesn't know him well enough or we get to see, hear and eavesdrop on a whale of a lot more than he does.

As ever George's comments about having to be witness to all the snogging etc is very entertaining

“I want to go and get my Hogwarts letter,” said Hermione - Glad to see Hermione has her priorities straight lol!!!

I am surprised with Bill's reaction but I can forgive him as the way you've written him, I'D want him to be MY big brother!!!

Author's Response: I heart Bill ... lol

In support of British Breakfast food; when we lived in VA for a bit, my only concern was whether or not they had Wheetabix, porage, and Shredded Wheat in the states.

Small part in an otherwise awesome story, I realise.

I'm a tad confused about Hermione's parents. They seem to be so accepting of the fact that their daughter took their life away from them, and until she decided to return their memories they were quite happy. I wonder if I would have been quite so nice about it? Their business in London (or where ever they live) isn't their own any more. The business in Australia seemed to be thriving, and now they just turn their back on that? My reaction would be more along the line of 'okay, I have a daughter...stay a while so we can get to know you, but we have responsibilities here that YOU instigated. Come visit when you have a chance, keep in touch."
lol, not gonna' happen that way, I know.

Darian.

Author's Response: You know, parakletos said the same thing about British breakfast foods lol. I know the cooked breakfast isn't a big thing, you know it, but you average Aussie Bert???? Knows only the stereotype. :D Author is sad because Shredded Wheat is hard to fin in Oz now since they stopped making it here, sigh.

When they got their memories back they remembered Hermione so they already know her. And I'm telling you no one wants to stay in a one horse town in country Victoria if they can go home lol. Hermione's going back to Hogwarts so they needed to go and be with her - they know their daughter and she wants to go to school! Just cos Doris thinks Mrs granger makes lovely scones is no reason for her to want to stay ;) .

Anyway I hope you liked some of it!

Sorry I got to agree with Jon on brekkie there. :D Weet-bix is boring and vegemite is one Aussie delicacy I can't handle. :D
The wedidng conversation was funny though.
Bill...hmm...well, it makes sense though I...I don't know, I thought it came a bit out of the blue. But I can kind of see why he'd be bothered about them, considering the amount of public snogging they're doing. But I just never saw evidence of him being bothered before. :-/

Author's Response: Vegemite rules.

Bill's been giving Harry funny looks for days ... ;)

Fantastic! More Jon, Bert & Ernie (Who I half want to go back with them to England...), It seems right that Ginny is appreciative of the more simplistic wedding plans, while Hermione and Fleur are completely horrified by it. And the scene outside of Hermione's parents is fantastically funny. Great job, all in all.

Author's Response: Thanks :)

Bill kinda surprised me with his sudden turn on Harry though. Biggest brother syndrome maybe? The artical in the paper was priceless as wes Ginny's reaction to being called a princess. I can't wait for Bert & Johnny's wedding and the return home. Still stumped on Bill Hmmmmm....

100 gazillion/10

Author's Response: So ... I'm guessing you loved it? Poor Bill, don't you all be too hard on him.

I love your story, I have been reading it for a while now, but only just made an account so I thought it was about time to review.
I love your accuracy of the characters, the storyling, the romance, everything. I also like the fact you have not rushed Harry and Ginny's marriage, many people seem to think they came straight out of the war and straight into marriage which is not what I believe at all!
Anyway, well done, keep writing and get the next chapter up soon! Haha, Maria.

Author's Response: I am glad you love it. That's so cool! I agree with you on the rushed into marriage thing. Well, that's obvious lol, since they haven't married and are not about to lol. Hope you continue to read and enjoy.

I loved the Quibbler article. The Jonathan/Bert wedding was a complete surprise, but your ideology behind it was dead on. I wish more people realized that about weddings. And now I completely understand why Bill had something to say and why he needed to say it before they could go home. For Harry's sake, I hope Bill expounds upon his feelings later on...because yes, Harry and Ginny are acting like hormonal teenagers. Hormonal teenagers in love, but teenagers nonetheless. It's useless for me to tell you this is an excellent chapter. So until next time, cheers! gbtso

Author's Response: I told you Bill had something to say and they couldn't go home until he'd said it! He was very verbose when they got home :D so perhaps he expounds ;)

Take some of the credit for the the wedding realisation sunshine!!!

This story continues to be well-written, funny and interesting. Thank you for the new chapter, it is as good as the rest of the story. I'm terribly disappointed in Bill for questioning Harry's love for Ginny. Why would he think Harry isn't sincere and why wouldn't he trust George and Ron's opinions since they know Harry much better? Harry doesn't have anything to prove to Bill, who is probably just scared of how Harry is taking Ginny away from the family and how the intensity of her feelings for Harry leave her vulnerable. But, if you want to put Harry through the wringer to prove his love for Ginny to the world, I'll certainly sit back and enjoy!

The chapters set in Australia were wild but your strength is characterization and the interactions of canon characters so I, for one, will be glad to have the setting back in England. You don't need a different local to make your story interesting because how you write these relationships that makes this story compelling. The original characters didn't add anything we needed and the descriptions of Origin Alley shops seemed to distract from what makes this story work so well. Now, I may be in the minority with that opinion and ultimately it's what you want to write about that matters. I'll still go along for the ride if you take them through every country in the world describing original characters and animals.

On another note, I love the orange themed Quiddich/library wedding (with spiders)--if they could add a troll and a few house elves it'd be perfect!

Author's Response: I don't think I have put Harry through the wringer ;) ... *runs to check*

You are not alone in your opinion there. But that's okay :D . Holiday's over though bwhahahahahah In more ways than one ...

Aw, Bill... at least he's trying. Although, I think I'd feel a little squeamish if my little sister was snogging her boyfriend all the time in front of me. I think that's a little inconsiderate of them, especially knowing he isn't comfortable with it. I'm glad everything is sorted out with Hermione's parents, and I liked the article in the Quibbler. Will they be headed home in the next chappie, then?

Author's Response: Ah, young love, conssiderate high on their radar? lol

Will they be headed home in the next chapter ... what a very good question indeed ... ;)
