I can't believe that it never occurred to Harry that he might not be able to speak Parseltongue in this reality. In fact, in all probability, he can't. I'm curious how that will work out.

Er, this whole Parselmouth thing??? I've read your respounce and I can believe the old Harry having his old abilities. Unfortunately your readers are putting you in a pinch since Harry has no scar. It is said Harry was the seventh Horcrux, so if Harry has his abilities, then Voldemort's soul from his world is with him. There will be no connection with AU Voldemort with Harry, because Harry is now AU Harry. If you you think about it, it works.
If you want to get into an explanation about it, (if you haven't yet,) think of it in that perspective.
Another thing, ya should have had Harry think about that and had him try talking to a garden snake or something. I was thinking, since Harry was in an AU, he couldn't speak it anymore.
Enough of that, I liked Leila confront Harry like Ginny would. There has to be someone to keep Harry striaght. I liked it when Leila, "You tell me everything, remember?" and Harry said, "No I can't remember," because I said the same thing:)
I was waiting for Leila to ask about herself in his world, but I think she knew she didn't excist after Harry told her about their parents' death, bu there was no reaction from her.
Anyway, good chapter.

Well, I know this chapter was written pre DH, so some information wasn't known. But how come Harry is Parselmouth if he never faced Voldemort? Or did he just forgot that little detail?

Author's Response: The whole reason Harry doesn't have the scar is explained in a later chapter. Basically, though his soul and mind are the same as the other world, so he still has his abilities. I'm including Parselmouth in his abilities.

OMG! I totally love this story! It's by far one of the best stories i've read in a long time. I love that there's new chapters everyday, i never have to wait too long! I can't wait to see what happens. I'm so excited about when Harry gets to see GInny again! I personally think she's that third person that made this whole thingy happen, but i'm probably wrong, lol, i usually am! I'm really bad at predicting things like that, lol. Anyway, amazing story! Love it!
Author's Response: Good thought, about Ginny being the 3rd person in the Aperio. It's not her though. I already have half the chapter written when Harry figures out the third person, and I can't wait to post it! But I have to write all the stuff in between first, y'know? I'm posting as fast as my beta reader finishes with the chapters, but I've been swamping her over the last few weeks, so it may be another few days until the next chapter comes up...

If Harry's got no scar, why would he be a parselmouth? Or is it like a language that you can't forget after you've learned it once in your past? If you decide to use this obstacle, I'll be very interested to see what comes of it. Nice chapter. Keep it up!
Author's Response: It's the old Harry who has entered the new reality. He's still a Parselmouth (from the old reality). The only thing that has changed is that he isn't connected to Voldemort any more through the old scar. Why no scar, yet he's still a Parselmouth? Don't know. You've found a flaw in my plot, lol. I just decided to do it that way for my own reasons, which I may or not reveal in future chapters.
Author's Response: Actually, I just read the review again, and what you said makes sense. "It's a language that you can't forget after you've learned it in the past." That's the explanation I'll probably stick with, because Harry didn't automatically forget all the defense spells (like the Patronus) he knew simply because he crossed over into another reality. Like I said, same old Harry, just no scar. He can still do stuff, including talk to snakes.
