I read the reviews before I reviewed and I was shocked at the lack of mention of the obvious issue. Malfoy as HeadBoy???? That seems hard to swallow. I know Dumbles wants to see the good in people, but there is no way any responsible person would put a bigot like that in a place of power over everyone. I realize that it adds angst to the story, but it is unbelievable. Given Harry's recent past and Malfoy's father I cannot see Harry willingly bow down and take this. I see him more likely standing up at the beginning feast and letting the whole school and staff know that he will not recognize Malfoy' s status and if he even tries to take advantage of it in any way that Harry will beat him into next summer.

I really liked the birthday traditions for Ginny and thought that Harry would have more of a emotional reaction as this is really the first normal celebration that he had ever witnessed if you think about it, Most of the other holidays and such he has been involved in the people were more conscious of Harry and making sure he was having a good time.

I realize that the story is already written so these suggestions falls on deaf ears but what can you do. I hope that you do a better job than JK. The last book was so disappointing what with utter lack of Harry as a strong wizard and the final battle between him and Tom was really a joke I mean a disarmer is that last spell. With all that she could do with the world she built and that was how it ended. Sad. How long do you think it would be before Harry would be battling against every baddie out there? They have no reason to fear him, as he did not once show and amazing ability just simple rebounded curse. Pitiful.

ok i dont remember...but does that mean they're dating...hermione and ron? oh well whatever i guess i'll find out later!

Oh, the Ron/ Hermione “favorite boy” part was adorable. I loved Ginny’s birthday traditions. While I’m not a princess type, I think Ginny growing up with 6 older brothers would need an annual Girly Girl day. Harry’s thoughts on Ginny are about what I’d expect at this point. I did love her putting him in her place while up in the air. Make him work for it indeed. The girl has gumption. As for Colin, I must confess that I’m curious to see if you’re setting him up to be a potential rival for Harry, Ginny’s confidant, or a bit of both. Well done!
