The last couple of chapter had me literally crying so hard it hurt! The scenes of Harry's death and everyone's dealing with it were really hard to read!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this story! I felt so hard for Harry every time something went wrong for him and just couldn't wait for him and Ginny to be able to be together finally! [ I however almost killed you when took away Harry's OTHER arm!! You are lucky you gave it back to him!!! :) I am also glad he has his green eyes back!] Seriously, this is one of the most compelling stories I've ever read and I can't wait for you to update! Keep up the GREAT writing!
xx

Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you! lol

You do angst fabulously. I thoroughly enjoyed your climax to this saga, and I'm grateful you're giving us a nice, long, aftermath. My favorite parts are always the aftermath scenes. I liked the realistic portrayal of Harry's physical therapy - it's filled with highs and lows, and I can see him becoming discouraged. Now, I have to admit that I skipped the dark-Harry parts - just won't go there - but overall, I think you've done a spectacular job and should really be proud of your accomplishment.

I'm enjoying watching Harry's recovery and I hope there's still a few more angsty bits up your sleeve. Well done.

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! I love having a nice lengthy aftermath too. Too many times authors end their stories too abruptly for my liking and it always leaves me wondering 'what now?' and keeps me drumming up scenarios of my own. So I had to bring closure to this for the readers, as well as myself. And that's fine that you skipped over the darker, harder Harry parts. I just have to thank you for weathering the storm and commend you for being here at the end! Thanks!

i think harry really needed to have everyone come in and see what has happen and allow the healing to start but then again its going to take a long time to work all out but in the end it will work out in the end i hope....harry and ginny need it its the time that is going to get them...kutgw

Author's Response: Yes...Harry needed that extra outside support from his classmates...and now its time for more healing Thanks!

A very emotional chapter. Well done. I really liked Harry's friends and their contribution to his mental health. I love the idea of him flying again too.

Author's Response: Thanks! I knew for a while there you were worried I was going to totally destroy Harry, but I could never really do that lol. Things will begin to look up, progress made and normalcy will start to (try to) set in lol.

YOu are writing a great story. I am really enjoying it. I feel bad for what all has happened but reading how Neville and the rest feel and how that made Harry feel less responsible for what he did and the friendliness of it. what a great job. I cant wait for more

Author's Response: Thanks!

I loved the portion with Seamus and Harry remembering what he'd done. I was wondering how that would be resolved. And kudos to Seamus and co. for being so accepting and understanding of Harry, believing that there were variables beyond their knowledge that had affected him. I'm proud of them for that. And as for Harry's frustration with his therapy, I actually feel like it was a little tame. After everything he's been through over the years, I would expect him to be even more angry and rebellious than he's acting. Less willing to open up, certainly not willing to have visitors. That's my take, anyway. I'd expect him to have more surface issues, and even deeper psychological ones. Maybe those are coming, and maybe he's still blocking some of it from himself, I don't know. Meh. Either way, great chapter. How much more will there be? Several chapters ago you said there would only be a few more, and we're still going. Not that I'm complaining, mind! I'm quite happy to have more in my inbox from time to time, but I'm still curious to know where you intend to end the story and if you're planning a sequel.

Cheers!

Author's Response: Having Harry deal with what he'd done under Voldemort's control had always been part of the plan. At first I thought about him running into Seamus' mom, but then I knew that would be as impactful as having Seamus and the others along. We've got one more regular chapter and an epilogue of sorts to go. And that's for sure. And I don't know about a sequel to this. Maybe missing moments and one shots here or there...but I do have so many other ideas for stories that writing is only inevitable for me! I'm not gone after this!

You made me happy; knowing Harry's arm was reattached and will be useful one day. Seamus is a great friend as are his old house mates to be so understanding of Harry's role in Voldemort's attacks. You can feel Harry's healing manifest itself in the last lines. Ah, finally, Harry is beginning to feel some peace and believe their is a worthy future for him. A chapter full of change for everyone.

Author's Response: I was happy to have given him his arm back. I've been so cruel throughout the story, that I wanted to give him something lol. Thanks!

You did an excellent job conveying Harry's frustration at being immobile. At one point I wanted to reach through your story and give poor Harry the tray of food! The sweet moments with Harry and Ginny, along with his friends was nice too. And I love that Remus and Tonks are alive with their son in our story. It makes more sense than their behind the scenes death in DH, which JKR justified by saying she wanted to kill some parents off to mirror Harry's loss. I am so happy that this story didn't just end with the defeat of Voldemort; because there is so much more to to tell! Excellent chapter, once again.

Author's Response: The whole beginning scene with the food was a spur of the moment thing that I just ran...I mean--ran--with lol. And I have to admit, Remus and Tonks being alive and having their son is part of a deep seeded sense of hurt I do have with JK's killing of them. I see why she did it, I accept it in canon...but I needed to have my vindication and keep them alive! lol Thanks!

Amazing.

You just have this ability to really capture the feelings these characters have. At least for me, you do. I'm still upset you made me cry when Harry 'died.' hehe ;)

One of the best parts of this chapter is the small part when Harry's in pain. It's more effective that way; just giving us a glimpse of his terrible pain and then giving us the pov of someone else.

I've tried to block out the parts where Harry was 'dark.' ;) So I had forgotten what he did to Seamus and co. But I love their reaction. It may have not seemed like it at the time, but they knew it wasn 't really Harry, and I'm glad. Harry needed to hear some encouragement, and it was good that it came from his friends and not strangers who saw him as a celebrity. They said what needed to be said. Harry somewhat understands now (but, of course, he will always blame himself). And they moved on. Quidditch was a great place to end the chapter. It's a good source of hope for Harry.

Oh, and I love that Harry and Ginny got to snog. Here's hoping they get to do a bit more next chapter...hehe.

Jen

Author's Response: Well I'm not upset that I made you cry lol. I thought about having Harry's POV during the painful therapy session, but I love writing Ginny's love and concern for him, so it felt natural to do it that way. Thanks!

Man! i love the fact that this story didn't just end with voldie's defeat. After all there is alot of time to heal both physically and emotionally. great stuff!

Author's Response: I wanted to make it a point to focus a lot of attention on the aftermath and recovery. I hate reading stories where it's just over after the defeat! So I'm glad you're enjoying this.

This is one of my favorite stories. You had me worried when Harry went 'dark' but it came out all right. You did a great job in this chapter describing the healing process with it's social, emotional, phyisical and mental aspects. Harry is in for a rough time. You're really good at taking us with you on his journey. Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I could have never allowed Harry to stay dark...that was just one step in his journey towards happiness and 'normalcy' lol
