My heart is in my throat and there are tears in my eyes...words cannot describe the amazing work you did in this chapter. This was exquisite and heart wrenching. Ginny was nothing short of magnificent and Remus broke my heart as he remembered the day Harry was born and tried to reconcile his feelings of loss with his feelings of joy. I have no idea where you might take this but I cannot wait to discover the truth behind the mysterious light and sound at the end of the chapter. I have learned that in this story things are often not what they seem which is why it is so wonderful. As always, beautifully done.

First comment: Beautiful, aching descriptions of everyone's reactions. I love Ron being brotherly to Ginny even though his own heart absolutely had to be breaking.
Second comment: Mirror? Voices? Maybe... last moment with Harry? Or Harry coming back somehow? Either way, you've done such an excellent job that your choice of ending will be a perfect fit. I can't believe this is the 55th chapter!

This chapter was wonderfully written ,as usaual, and so bittersweet,, that you had be in tears almost from the beginning! Yes,'I know that you were just doing you'r job, but darnit......! I cried especailly hard when Remus found out about Jacob and couldn't help comparring his,Jacob's birth, with Harry's. It's so hard to think of Jacob being bom as a replacement for Harry loosing his life. A joyous event such as a childs birth should not have to be shared with such a tramatic event as the death of someome that you love so much! I was actually suprized a bit at Hermionie and Ron's reaction to the news of Harry's death, they seemed so much more calm then they did at the beginning of the storry, when they thought that Harry had died in that car crash. This is probably because they were prepared for it this time... not thhat this fact could lessen the pain at all. Then there is Ginny who has just lost her soulmate, I can't believe that she hasm't completely broken dowm yet. She was so strong and admirablly helped Harry thriugh his last moment in the last chapter and allthough she did cry in this chapter, she still seems to be ,understandably fighting the pain. I have to wonder along with Arthur about whether Ginny could ever love and biuld a life with someome other than Harry. Soe how, I really don't think she could. Speaking of Arthur- he and Molly have just lost another son, if not by blood then in every other sence of the word. I hate seeing Molly blameing herself and thinking that she failed Harry for letting the darkmesss over take him.
The scene in the headmasters office when family and close friends have an intimment moment surounding Harry's body, is so tender and moving. especailly as Molly and Remus begin to ,ake Hrry pesentable. It is so hearwrenching to see Remus trying to repair Harry's ravished body, even though he can't bring Harry back. I also think that it is very fitting for Molly to clean Harry "the muggle way" since magic was used as a tool to kill him and she was trying to protect him from anymore damage. On a side note,I'm so glad that Ginny made sure that Harry was laid out in the heads office ane not in the Greathall, not omly wsas she being, in her eyes selfish, and protecting Harry from being stared at, but it just seems right for him to be layed out in an intimmant setting. I was overwhelmed by emotion to see Hermionis reaction to seeing Harry's body and Ron conforting her and his reassurances tha Harry isn't really there, but in a place where he is ok , safe and away fom the paim, Furthermore it is so touching to see Ron determinedt o travle across the schoo to be "with Harry", even though his leggs are so fragile as they had only recently been healed. Ron's determination and stubborness to be with his bestmate is just another testiment to how deep their love runs, At this piont Ginny comes in and ,eventhough her world is crashing down around her, as the amazing innerstength to help confort Hermionis as well as help her mother make Harry presentable. I love the small detales of Molly washing Harry's blood away tenderly around his wouns and Ginny carressing his skin as she cleans him. I'm really having a hard time reading where Ron asks Remus what happens after a healer comes to offically pronounce Harry's death. I can't stand hearing about funeral and burrial preperations, especailly when Hermionie remenbers Harry's last wishes. Oh but wait, am I seeing the swist that you had hinted at on the blogg of your most wonerfull site? What's with the cesciendoing blussing sound the the piercong green light coming from the mirror? Is Harry trying to come back as well as a few other dear friends? I desperatly hope so! Ther aren't any pitchforks here as of yet, but I'll keep you posted! I can't wait for part two! Again, this chapter was amazing!

I agree with Ginny. Harry should not be in the Great Hall. He wouldn't want that... BUT, he will still live!! Yes, he will, though I haven't any idea how...
Ohh, I love Arthur! And Ginny is right again, Ron and Hermione should be told. And I love Arthur for going with her!! *huggles him* George is right as well. Bill and Remus need to see their wives - and Remus should see his son.
Oh, I adored the part with Arthur! I love how you get to see what he thinks about Ginny, Harry, and their relationship. You know, so far, that is my favorite part. And I say so far, because I am not done yet, so maybe I'll like a different part more...
Yay - Remy's point of view!! Let's see what he thinks... Oh my, okay, I wasn't crying when Ginny walked up the castle and met Neville, nor McGonagall. Or when Arthur saw Molly. But now, we see Remus grieving for Harry with Tonks, and my eyes are getting wet. So sad...
Erm, by the way... You wrote this line (awesome, by the way) -- '"He’s–he’s dead," he choked out, his voice thick and broken sounding. "Harry’s gone," he said flatly as tears poured down his cheeks.' -- And a few lines down, the same line, exactly was repeated... I'm not sure if it was purposeful or something...
And back to Remus' point of view... ooooh!! I want them to have Jacob's middle name to be... Harry! It would be awesome. I just though of it... It would be really fitting... even though... HARRY ISN'T DEAD!! Right?? :d

(even though, if we are being technical, this is a fanfiction. And with that statement, I feel all my hopes and dreams crashing down around me. :p Sorry, I love the dramatics! And... Back to the story!! Yay!!

Wait - wait... what's that humming?? I'll tell you what it is!! IT'S HARRY COMING BACK TO LIFE BECAUSE HE'S NOT DEAD!! Lol, sorry for the caps... I'm just rather manical right now. :p And I really think that Harry isn't gonna stay dead - if he even is.
You know, I was having doubts that when you said mirror that they would see the Mirror of Erised, but I don't think so. Just one of those random thoughts. THEN, I thought that maybe they would just get to see a form of Harry that he got to see of his parents, Remy, and Siri with the Stone. That would just be even meaner...
But now... HARRY IS STILL ALIVE! The voices are Lily, and James, and Sirius, and maybe Dumbles, and Harry. And they're bringing Harry back because it's not his time, and he deserves to live Happily Ever After (I knew I would mention that at least once. :p) So, again, Harry is alive and all will be well. It has to be! Or else you will have to deal with one very crazy, psychotic, over-imagnitive, emotional when it comes to my beloved Harry Potter, and pitchfork carrying, teenage girl! Good luck! Lol.
A day or so?? Well, I believe you, so I'll hold back my pitchforks. :p I'll wait till next chapter for HARRY TO COME BACK!!!! Because I know he will!!
Hmm... I can't help but think that the line you said about holding back pitchforks was spoken - or written - sepcifically to me... Don't worry, Ginny (and here I mean me, as Ginny is my name and I tend to speak about myself in third person, and not Ginny Weasley.) will be good, and put away the pitchforks... for now.
By the way... I was thinking that I don't have a favorite part for this chapter, becasue it is just all way to brilliant. I love all the parts equally, even the Arthur scene.

First of all, that was brilliant! Second, I have to admit that I'm great with lyrics, I don't recognize them often, and I get excited when I do recognize them. But the lyrics you have in the beginning, I would recognize those anywhere as they are part of one of my all time favorite songs. From one of my all time favorite bands. So kudos to you for picking such a great and fitting song. :)
You never cease to amaze me. You really know how to capture the emotion. From Ginny firmly deciding that Harry did not belong in the Great Hall, to Remus conflicted by two opposing emotions as he sits with Tonks. I especially love Arthur's scene. It's almost as if he's lost two sons and now he's afraid of what the future holds for his only daughter.
I'm guessing this light and mirror thing is similar to the Veil. But here's hoping that Harry's going to be able to walk through and come back to his family. *crosses fingers*

After all the tissues and tears I am anxious for the rest of this chapter. This was a very emotional chapter to read. I am still holding out hope though. *fingers crossed*
My "waterproof" make-up failed miserably.
Loved Ginny's protectiveness, insisting on a private room to keep Harry, away from the gawkers.
How utterly true of Arthur's feelings of helplessness, when there was no way to comfort his daughter as fathers always feel is their job.
Heart breaking and bittersweet for Remus, as his first view of his son was immediately after losing his surogate son. He would never be able to separate the two events.
It was a true act of love towards Harry by Molly and Ginny to clean Harry's body manually out of love,
respect and devotion.
I liked how you described each pair or group separately as they learned about and dealt with the sad news of Harry's passing.
I have run out of words to describe how good your writing is without repeating myself each chapter.

The various viewpoints from the different characters is a great way to show what is going through everyone's minds. And the ending.. oy... I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
