well, that was certainly a clifhanger, and i think harry did some major damage to greyback, hopefully permenant! he has some strength in that arm of his!
and rons insight to the history etc, he not as thick as he looks!

Wow! Great chapter!I really like the connection between Hepzibah + Zacarias -- I think that has a good change of showing up in DH. And I love how you used the Sorting Hat's songs as clues! I can't wait for the next chapter! (although, I admit that I'm looking forward to DH more... :D)

Hi NADE, Great connection to the Sorting Hat's song! Finding Hufflepuff's castle should be fun -- I'm assuming Harry, Ron, and Hermione were able to apparate to Valley Broad. Now, that I think about it, you may throw in one of your evil twists. LV and his DEs had to have been stunned by Harry's ability to apparate with this two friends through the wards. I was wondering how you were going to get them out of that fix.
Your use of humor thoughout the story was a welcome relief, since it helped to offset your trademark angst and sticky situations. At least Harry didn't lose any body parts in the chapter!!! As always, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Have you calmed down from your London theatre going experience yet? Also, congratulations on your DSTA nominations! -- Jim

YOU ARE BRILLIANT!!! Valley Broad, etc... incredible JK-esque tie-in! wow. And Harry apparating out like that. Everything in here is so intricate and fascinating. Also drawing a parallel between the Smiths, that was neat. I am enjoying this story so incredibly much. One of my favorite moments was Ron proving he's smart after all. He can be quite wise sometimes, and the others need to hear wisdom coming from sources other than themselves sometimes. Can I just take this moment to point out how appropriate your moniker is? This story is full of emotion, suspense, and tragedy, so it makes sense that it would be written by Notadryeye. Heehee, that's my pointless observation of the day.

OH and I just remembered ....you got me thinking with the sorting hat song and everything....EXCELLENT!! I never even thought about them using the sorting hat for info....I mean he...it was there!!!! Now I'm going to be thinking about that all day...

I was just thinking about this story yesterday, and hoping you would update soon...I read the first 32 chapters in about two days and have been in love with it ever since....
I LOVE the ending of this chapter!! Its so kick ass...but not over done....
Anyway...hopefully this was encouraging enough....
...and thanks for giving a great HP fix for us while we wait....I'm glad to hear you'll keep it up after #7....I think we'll all need something to keep the depression at bay while we go through the stages of grief after all the books are out....

Well great chapter, but refering to Scotland (and Wales) as regions of England, its sickening to be honest. You may have mis-worded that paragraph but thats what it sounded like you meant.
Anyway back to the chapter, it was very good, nice to see the hunt moving forwards again. For a moment I was a bit worried that Harry was about to suffer more torment and be bitten by Fenir but you had him pretty much kill him so that was ok in the end. I like Harry's somewhat cockyness at the end of the chapter when escaping form the room with Voldy and DE's, too be a fly on the wall in that room when Voldy realises what has just happened would be quite fun I suspect.
Nice work, it really is a great story.

Author's Response: Yes...I did screw that bit up and made it sound like they were regions. I just sort of meant areas of the UK. I'll fix it when I can and make it sound proper...but thanks for pointing it out! I sometimes am in such a hurry to publish that things slip by

Yay!! You did it and it's wonderful! I'm so glad you got past your carnivorous computer problems. Loved the beginning with Harry and Ginny enjoying their short time together. Also so glad that you had Ginny helping with the research and having HER come up with the solution they couldn’t see.
Loved Ron’s take on History of Magic class. He’s no different than any Muggle kid who wants to learn about the action and excitement in history, not facts and dates.
Awesome use of the Sorting Hat’s song…Now I have to go re-read that.
The battle with the Death Eaters was excellent. I really wanted Harry to give it to Greyback with his “secret weapon.” Oooohhh!! Can he strangle Voldie-Poo with his right hand???
Excellent having his powers allowed him to breech the anti-apparition wards and get them out. Really looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish with his full powers AND his friends.
Favorite line?? “I doubt the Order would appreciate it if we got attacked and had to bring you back in little snake bits…” Do snakes have bits?
Seriously, you’ve given us another great chapter and I can hardly wait for more. Please remember to feed your computer BEFORE you start, ok??
