i bet when you read the book, that you didn't realise how close you are too it, cos i never clicked that the barman was albus brother, although when you read back through the bokos, there are plenty of references! i can't wait to see how you have written it after the book. good chapter btw!

Yay! Another great chapter! Sorry for missing a review of the last one....been living la vida loca!
Loved the suspense (we're doing suspense writing in English!) in this chapter with Alberforth and then when they got to Hogwarts and it was empty. I love the detail about the tunnel from Honeydukes being smaller than they remembered. It's nice way to show how they've grown. Ron was a riot this chapter with his reaction to Honeydukes closing and his invitation to Ginny/Harry to just shag right on the quidditch pitch.
Looking forward to some fluffy Harry/Ginny goodness and to a possible conversation with Dumbledoor's picture. I can't tell you how much I love this story and how excited I get when I see that notice in my mail. Any idea how many more chapters??
Psssst....I've finally started my own story. Don't tell anyone. shhhhhh....

Despite the shortness, this chapter contained just as much meaningful information as a 15k chapter has.
I loved the scene where it dawned on Harry that the bartender at the Hog's was Aberforth. The line, '“How?” Harry croaked as the bottom of his stomach seemed to drop out and his brain went into overdrive.' really put the suspense in place.
Then of course, the part where the trio went back to Hogwarts. I hadn't thought of the possibility of Harry transforming into a snake to fit under the cloak until I read it, so kudos on that. And then the Quidditch scene following their arrival. I can only imagine Harry's fixed expression as he saw Ginny for the first time in a month.
Oh, and of course the cute part where Ron made the suggestion to Harry and Ginny to strip naked and shag. BRILLIANT! Especially his reaction when Harry actually brings himself and Ginny to the ground, lol.
So yea, A+ as usual. It was a great morning surprise to find another update =]

Excellent chapter and so were the two before it. I've been reading them off an on, cause things have been so busy, but I neglected to leave a review on the last two. Things have taken an interesting turn and its going to get scary for them I think. I did like the light heartedness of Ron complaining about the sweet shop and wanting to watch a simple game of quidditch. I do have reservations though and sometimes Ron's simplistic viewpoint is dead on target. I'm worried that he is correct and it was too easy to get the locket. I fear something is coming around the corner. I can't wait to see what you have in store for the next chapter. Again, wonderful story and I see you were nominated again. Good luck. I keep voting for you, mabe this time you'll win. :-)
Author's Response: Things will get scary...as undoubtedly they will in the real book 7...but I'm glad you enjoyed this as well as the other too. (It's alright if you don't review all the time...you've already contributed enough...lol) And Ron does have a habit of being right and pointing out the obvious when it matters...so you're not too far off at all. Thanks again and I hope I win too. It looks hopeful for Angst right now!

Wow....the reality of the war really hit home for me in this chapter. Out of all the horrors that have occurred and all the seventh year stories I've read, I've never seen it put so eloquently and so understated. At first, Ron's reaction to Honeydukes closing made me smile, but then when I read Harry's ruminations of Ron's reaction, it sort of hit me in the gut. And then when they emerged from the tunnel and discovered the castle empty because of Quidditch, I actually couldn't breathe. While the rest of the world isn't exactly going on as normal (Hogsmeade), Hogwarts at least is trying...and the sheer unfairness of the Trio not getting to experience the Normal things a seventeen year old Hogwarts student would enjoy broke my heart a little bit.
I'm off to nominate you for every single award I can think of.
Amazing.
Author's Response: Sometimes when I'm writing or even reading the books themselves, the characters seem so much older than they actually are at times and I have to remind myself that they're just kids. But have been forced to grow up and into situations they shouldn't have. I wanted to show that in this chapter and I'm glad I hit that point. Thanks for the nominations...I love it!

That was just hilarious. The way Harry teased Ginny like that. XD Awesome. I was hoping he would see her in this chapter but I wasn't sure if he would just try to keep a low profile.
Dumbledore's portrait surprised me in a way. I thought for sure they were going to talk to Slughorn. Eh, whatever, I never really liked him all that much anyway. =)
Great chapter, and it's good to know this'll be done by JULY, haha.
Author's Response: I needed to lighten things up a bit for whats to come. lol And the Slughorn thing never occured to me, but it makes sense seeing as he's the one who gave Riddle the info on the Horcruxes in the first place. Maybe that will now come into play somehow? Thanks again for reviewing!

Great chapter! So now they have a horcrux and need to figure out what to do with it. I liked how Harry made his presence known to Ginny, Tonks, and Remus. Getting even with Ginny for all her teasing and joking. Neville playing Quidditch? Cool! I don't think anyone has ever wrote about that. Next chapter sounds important if you want it to stand on its own. Looking forward to it!
Author's Response: Thanks! The whole Neville playing Quidditch thing stemmed from where I had him play in the game that took place after Bill's wedding. It just seemed natural that he'd have a chance now that the team and school itself saw diminished numbers. The next chapter is important and I can't wait to get it out!
