Archiving Dept. Reorganization |
| In order to streamline operations, clear out things that are no longer necessary or have lost their purpose, and to make everything just plainly simple, the following changes are hereby put into immediate effect. The positions of Deputy Archivist are hereby dissolved. The positions of Assistant Archivist are hereby dissolved. All members of the Archiving Department now carry the title "SIYE Archivist." Jaquelyne Hawkins is hereby appointed to serve as the Head Archivist of SIYE. Victoria (Knightwhosaysni) is hereby appointed to serve as the Acting Head Archivist of SIYE until such time that Jaquelyne is no longer incapacitated. RS/LD- Head Admin, SIYE |

Soccer Devil22 - Jaq was the Head Archivist before a medical condition struck her down last year. Besides almost killing her, she was also blind. Recently, her doctors determined the exact cause of all her problems and she is on the mend. When she is well enough, she will resume her position at SIYE. We have been running short notices of her progress every once in a while.

Have we heard anything recently on Jaq? Last I heard, she was doing better but haven't heard much in the last couple months. I'm looking forward to her return.

According to her latest communication with us, the doctors have found and cured the cause of her grief and they expect that her eyesight will completely return within the next six months to a year.

I never really met Jaq- just through a few reviews. The way you all talk about her- she must be really nice. I have a friend who almost went blind. He has something that causes tunnel vision.

I've spoken to her at times when I first joined the staff and she was very helpful and still is. It's good to know she'll be back with us!
