June 2016 Silver Trinket Results |
The results are in for the June 2016 Dumbledore Silver Trinket Awards, and I can tell you it was very close in a few of the categories. Congratulations to all the winners and everyone who was nominated. Nominations are now being accepted for what *should* be the May 2017 trinkets.

Wow, June 2016. The world seemed a different place back then, certainly before 'HP & the Cursed Child' arrived to stink up the Potter universe. Never mind Brexit, Theresa May, and Trump, this the real reason the world is falling to pieces. And don't get me started on bloody Johnny Depp as Grindelwald! Err, it's okay - I'm calm now. The trinkets lagged nearly a year before GW777 rescued them (thanks Hannah!!). Under normal trinket cycles, most of our latest honourable mentions would have won trinkets, and many of the other nominees would have had legitimate shots at HMs or Trinkets.Hopefully stories emerging now will that get sort of due recognition!

I'm just glad I can do my bit for the site. I'm hoping to get the Trinkets back onto the two-monthly cycle that it was on previously, but it'll depend on the number of submissions to the site.
