And The Winners Are….
Now that everybody has told the stories of their great traveling adventures over and over in the Great Hall, their Common Rooms, or classrooms to whoever would listen, it’s time to listen to the grades they will receive. The fourteen judges read through all seven candidates and came to some solid conclusions. I would like to thank those judges that stuck it out and did their best to their abilities. And now, their results…

The Award for Best Overall goes to:
”When In Rome…” by werekitten

The Award for Most Romantic goes to:
”Wizards In Rome Spell Trouble” by Miss Radcliffe

The Award for Most Humorous goes to:
”My Lovely Assistant” by Dianne

The Award for Most Adventurous goes to:
”Don’t Drink The Water!” by Spenser Hemmingway

The winning stories are now prominently listed in our Featured Stories section. Those of you that have multiple chapters or need to do some editing may continue at this time. The Challenge category is back open. If your story is completed, please ensure it is edited and YES, as completed.

The 3-2007 Challenge is coming up shortly. It would be a good idea to start noticing your surroundings.

PS: Some authors have asked If I would tell them how well they did in the judging. If you wish, e-mail me and I will tell you your results.

PPS: Trip, Muggle, city, Europe, hotel, and start getting your books and bags packed.

Thank you everyone. I hope that all the writers enjoyed this as much as I did, and that they didn't suffer the writer's block I fought at times. If nothing else, I am thrilled that I could finally tip my hat (exposing my bald spot unfortunately) to Mr. Harris. We are about to begin the last Challenge before JKR's finale, and I know that we will all step up and make her very proud. Now if she will only lift that silly restraining order against poor Spenser... Thanks again! Eric B.

Yea, I got 'hide test find' too....maybe we have to find things on the site and whoever gets 5 items passes the test? no?!...They never make sense to me anyways....I believe a congrulations is in order for all the winners they truly had great stories...such a shame there were so few stories, for you see i have no social life and no homework..that i actually do at home anyways...and this was a fun way to occupy my time for a short while...i judged the challenge and even got my nominations in early.. : ) ...now then there's three days until that concert i've been waiting for unfortunatly the bass player is on his honeymoon...still...so i'll just day dream until friday...maybe read sense and sensibility no half-blood prince...ohh all the stress i'm under... : )

gryffindor_girl101 came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.16 - 03:55PM to say:

I got "hide test find" too. They never make sense to me either. Congrats to all the authors who submitted theirs and a gignormous Congrats to all those who won. I was going to submit a story, but I didn't finish it in time. I only got a couple paragraphs done by the time I could submit it...oh well...

Ginnyrules came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.16 - 04:43PM to say:

Welld one all! All the ones I read on the site where really good. I think they are just testing out the hiding of words? Lol

Miss Gryffindor came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.17 - 12:49PM to say:

How about those other clues. Harry will turn 17 and he has a mission to hunt for the horcruxes. He has to have some kind of shelter for him and Hermione and Ron to live. And they want to hide it so nobody can find out what they are doing. Otherwise they could live at #12. They also need to find and test the horcruxes. That makes some kind of sense doesn’t it.

Miss Radcliffe came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.17 - 01:05PM to say:

I was absolutely stunned when I saw the results of the challenge. There was amazing competition and I'm honored that my fic won an award.

Congrats to all of you! well the next will be the last one before the book I hope it will be good the challenge and the book.

Ravenclaw came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.28 - 08:03PM to say:

*gasp* It will be the last before the book. My goodness. I guess the desktop counters (yes I have more than one), don't really do justice to how rapidly the end is approaching.

I can't wait to see the challenge, Tom! I demand another clue ;) *grin*

Spenser Hemmingway came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.28 - 11:08PM to say:

As has been my habit just before the Challenges, I have hacked into the site's clue-base. I'm not sure what is happening this time, but I have encountered such phrases as "Mr. Potter...if you choose to accept this mission..." and "As always, if any of you or your Impossible Magic Team are caught or captured, the Ministry will disavow all knowledge of actions,". I am especially worried about the latest paragraph that I have brought up. “This message will self-destruct after ten bad reviews…or if you have any contact with Spenser Hemmingway. Good luck Jim…ehr, uhm…Harry.” You don’t suppose that…? BOOM!

Ravenclaw came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.30 - 03:25AM to say:

*laughs* That would be fun.

cantante came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.31 - 03:38PM to say:

ReneeGinSoftie came out of the woodwork on 2007.05.31 - 05:09PM to say:
